LOL, no.... I still blame Ryan for asking you to do it. Everyone knows: if you ask Tim to do something stupid, Tim is gonna do it, no questions asked.Did Sara know what she signed up for when c02 tank got dropped in the smudge pot?![]()
Literally the response you’ll get , 90% of camps are packing serious pew pewsDont eff with Col Sanders is the jist...
They don't have 20 officers on duty at night.... NO way they are going in there with 2 or 3 people... They don't really care, they are working they will be up all night...they don't care if your dickhead neighbors keep you up all night. Some well placed motor shots at 5am might do the trick. Then it all comes back to Algebra and Angles.....Hoping they police it somehow - I want a good night's sleep to wake up and go rip the dunes. Wish more people went to ride, not party.
It was crazy in '75 when I started. Used to go all the down to wash 4 to get away from it. Finally learned to avoid holiday time. You really want peace and quiet, go out in the summer. Some of the most memorable trips ever. Really mis Dev, we had great times in the summer.

That would include every single buggy/quad and most SxSs after 10pm as well. Be careful what you ask for.Ya, but as much as we all pay to be there, they have enough funds to make it happen - shutting down the people after 10pm like any other campground should be the norm. It's also in the fuking rules they we as taxpayers pay for.
https://www.blm.gov/visit/imperial-sand-dunes/rules-and-regulations
"QUIET HOURS. No person shall operate or use any audio, such as a radio, television, musical instrument, or other noise producing device or motorized equipment (including generators)between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am in a manner that makes unreasonable noise that disturbs other visitors; or operate or use a public address system without written authorization from BLM."
ENOUGH SAID !!!!!I spoke English, flew an American flag, didn't listen to polka, didn't go gangsta on people asking us to turn it down, and...we stayed in our own camp.
Nice try though
No idiots racing near camp after 10pm sounds good to me - the amount of people that rip right round camp is pathetic. That would include every single buggy/quad and most SxSs after 10pm as well. Be careful what you ask for.

You got it? I don’t think you do, let’s play the scenario out just a little bit more…Yore seriously complaining about it being loud all night in Glamis on Thanksgiving weekend? Got it . . .
Some mortor rounds starting around 5am every 30 mins with a train horn between every 30, and every car light, spotlight etc pointed into their camp mixed in w a couple live rounds clacked off here n there would get the point across, and that’s when you break out the hey I got a loud stereo too screamo and baby shark on repeat. You got it? I don’t think you do, let’s play the scenario out just a little bit more…
We camped in Gordon’s, not glamis, away from everyone. A camp pulls up right next to us instead of being at least 100 feet away. They parked so close I couldn’t get my Sand card in the trailer at night, AFTER I asked them not to park that close. Ok fine, it’s not raining, I won’t worry.. but then it got worse.
Hey, guess what?I like to play music also. And when the Neighbir’s music is so loud that I can’t hear my own music then there seems to be a breakdown in mutual respect someplace, and not on my end. When the neighbors music is so loud, I can’t have a decent conversation with my buddies at the fire, you’re just rude. Now when it goes to 5 AM then yes, there’s a huge problem, even if it was “THANKSGIVING WEEKEND”.
And furthermore, I’m not complaining about people riding all night. I’m not complaining about a generator going all night. I’m not even complaining about them being up all night partying. But when your Oompa Loompa music is so loud, it’s rattling the teeth out of my head at 4:30 in the morning then we’ll yes I guess I am complaining about it. And I sure wasn’t the only one upset.
I’m actually investing in a HUGE stereo system for the next trip, I’ll park next to you and you can tell me how it sounds.
