This is BS

Simple. Skip the holiday trips. Can't say I've had this issue since I gave up on the holidays in glamis.
For that matter I may even be the issue on a Wednesday at 9 pm. But I'm a ghost by 10.
Amazingly quiet after 10, except for a few cars driving thru out the night.
Cheffs time to shine in his b-day suit.

We've had it happen in 22, and during the week. Go to bed camped in an empty wash, next thing you know some dickheads drop anchor next to us, fire up the boogey lights, and 5 jillion watt facking stereo, and racing around camp, dusting everyone out. Ignorant MFers are everywhere.

I'd really like to hear the offender's side of the story, do they really think no one cares what they do while camped out there? Are they seriously that ignorant of the fact that no one outside of their camp wants to hear their music? Fireworks too for that matter.

Like the Joker said, We all know what "Good Neighborhood" means and I'm tired of pretending we don't.

However, as I understand it, no one wants more police presence around the camps so unless you take it upon yourself to quiet the offenders, it's going to continue.

I think the offenders don’t honestly care. They have a mentality of “F everyone else” and sadly it’s not getting any better. I’m all for music in camp but at a decent level so you can still talk by the campfire. Best plan is to wait till the go to bed and start cutting power wires to the speakers and pulling black tank valves.

Used to be flat billers, black socks, black shoes, black shorts, black t shirt, pallet burning, glock (wishing they had one), ford fucking ranger driving.....

Then they grew up, sorta. Had kids, but still cling to the "look" But stopped burning pallets and turned it down a notch or two on the volume of their music. No offence to all the SD peeps and havasue clics. lol

Now it has been replaced with "yo quiero taco bell"

Who knows what the next jackass movement will be?

Just go Sun-Thurs, avoid the holidays, and enjoy the peace & quite!

Welcome to Glamexico. Unfortunately nothing will change. Its in mexican culture that once they start partying that it goes all night and morning. I hear its also starting to infest gecko.

Gecko use to be the non-stop music and cars/quads/bikes ripping around at all hours. Then the ghost campers took up all the spots and it stopped. So ghost camping might not be so bad. LOL!

Seems a little harsh @ChasingSand Black Tanks? Really?!! Peace
If you repeatly ask someone nicely and politely to turn down the music to a decent level and they tell you to fuck off I don’t think it’s out of line at all. I am all for having a great time in Glamis and like most of us go there to unwind but having people play any kind of music at insanely loud volume levels all hours of the night with no regard to their fellow campers kind of deserve to have something shitty happen to them. Pun intended.

Mexicans have always gone to Glamis. Hell, well known ATV Bling And Billet Accessory shops...won't say the name... were known to bring in a full Mariachi band live for parties every season 15 years ago...in Cement flats, Vendor Row, etc.

But there is a huge population boom of Hispanic and Latinos, that party hard and all night long.

Same as the Flatbiller crowd of the late 90s to mid 2000s.

Like @wapawekka said...until BLM cracks the whip again like 2000s nothing will change in the late night camp scene.

Learn Spanish? And join the party...
