Some guy pulls up in his SxS next to us and is blasting rap. After about the third song I yelled at him and asked him if he had any white people music? The other people in his group started laughing and he changed it and he yells back "Is that good you racist" with a smile on his face. It’s not just at camp anyways , the same dirtbag Mexicans pull up at the drags or the hill and blast the music looking for attention, and what’s with the white guys playing the same stupid rap music now ? Maybe soon their balls will drop and they won’t have to be the fake tough guys
I like both kinds of music.... Country and Western.white people music?

Best story ever!! Yeah dont freaking get it, whole washes nearly empty and they set up near you..Damn retards I swear.Told this story before but can’t find it in my old posts
10 plus years ago set up camp in the washes about 10 or so on a Thursday on an off weekend nobody around, wake up Friday morning to a group of Mexicans parked right next to our circle they could have parked 100 yards in any direction and and still not been next to another camp not a problem if they were respectful but the Kids are running through and around are camp all morning so we don’t say anything just move a bunch of washes further back
We get all the RVs moved and come back for the toys
The kids are now dusting the toys and riding around us as we are getting in the buggies and quads so many urchins buzzing around they hit each other right behind my buggy so i let them all have it
Dropped the clutch and blew kids right off there toys and then proceeded to blast anybody an anything I could see a funco with a turning brake throws a hell of a roost i blasted that camp and kids for a couple of minutes
The rest of my group headed for our new camp after helping me for a short time and I was the last to leave
They did not follow I guess they figured they deserved what they got
My old group camped at Ogliby by the tower, and we never had one problem with anybody ever bothering us, well besides the Border Patrol running thru in the middle of the night . Well, the last time we camped there years ago was the one and only time we ever had an issue.just shut their generator off after the third time the think its broke and stop trying
Had a similar experience at Gordon's around 3rd base. Camp next to us pulls up close enough for me to play with their truck's mirror in from inside my toyhauler despite ACRES of empty space. They pull out a fairly nice Honda 7000w inverter job, wheel it into our camp, start it, plug in and walk away...My old group camped at Ogliby by the tower, and we never had one problem with anybody ever bothering us, well besides the Border Patrol running thru in the middle of the night . Well, the last time we camped there years ago was the one and only time we ever had an issue.
It was Thursday night and back then nobody went out on Thursdays. We camped in a spot that was flat and large enough for the entire group to fit. Well just before dark this guy rolls in with a 5th wheel and drops it off 5' away from our camp. Doesn't say a word just drops it, waves at us and drives off. About an hour later he comes back with another does the same thing only this time unloads this big construction generator and fires it up. The Generator is away from the two trailers but right in front of an opening to our camp. The one guy in our group say's I am not going to listen to that all night, walks over and turns off the petcock under the tank. It runs out of fuel. Shortly after that two trucks pulling enclosed trailers roll into the area and stop with their lights facing our camp for like 5 minutes. Then they pull up next to the 5th wheels and the two families start setting up camp.
Next thing you know the a kid runs over to start the generator, he fails gets tired and goes back. Comes back with a gas can top it off, spills gas immediately, tries to start it again fails to see the petcock. Now he comes back with oil, same results. Now Dad comes over see's the petcock and starts it up.
They go inside and shut off the lights, we go to bed as well. Just as I fall asleep, I hear the gen swell and die. finally silence.
Next morning I hear the two dads talking to each other, they were that close. They couldn't believe that we camped so close to their trailers. Shortly after the kid walks out with the gas can again, spills gas again and can't start it, slow learner, I guess. This time dad and kid walk back dad see's the petcock was once again shut off and gets the hint.
This time the guy who shut the petcock off hears the dads talking about what would happen if that petcock magically shuts off again. My buddy walks righ up to the two of them and tell them if they hadn't camped so close there wouldn't of been an issue. They then try to tell them that this was their spot they camp here all the time and the guy just drops the trailers in the same spot every time. He tells them he didn't care just move the Generator to the other side of their camp.
A few months later at a GD meet up here in the Valley one of them shows up, doesn't recognize me but I think his wife did. He introduced himself, I guess he was a big shot at the ASA back then.
I actually bring 2 quiet gen sets out, if someone new to camp breaks out a construction generator I simply let them borrow one of mine.Had a guy that used to camp with us that had zero tolerance for a construction generator running all night. First time he would shut it off, second time he would turn off the petcock if it had one, third time cut plug wire and gas tanks filled up with sand. I take a nicer approach, if you point the generator at our camp or put it in our camp, my boys and I would pick it up and walk it right back into their camp. That usually got the point across.
A true gentlemanI actually bring 2 quiet gen sets out, if someone new to camp breaks out a construction generator I simply let them borrow one of mine.
You got it? I don’t think you do, let’s play the scenario out just a little bit more…
We camped in Gordon’s, not glamis, away from everyone. A camp pulls up right next to us instead of being at least 100 feet away. They parked so close I couldn’t get my Sand card in the trailer at night, AFTER I asked them not to park that close. Ok fine, it’s not raining, I won’t worry.. but then it got worse.
Hey, guess what?I like to play music also. And when the Neighbir’s music is so loud that I can’t hear my own music then there seems to be a breakdown in mutual respect someplace, and not on my end. When the neighbors music is so loud, I can’t have a decent conversation with my buddies at the fire, you’re just rude. Now when it goes to 5 AM then yes, there’s a huge problem, even if it was “THANKSGIVING WEEKEND”.
And furthermore, I’m not complaining about people riding all night. I’m not complaining about a generator going all night. I’m not even complaining about them being up all night partying. But when your Oompa Loompa music is so loud, it’s rattling the teeth out of my head at 4:30 in the morning then we’ll yes I guess I am complaining about it. And I sure wasn’t the only one upset.
I’m actually investing in a HUGE stereo system for the next trip, I’ll park next to you and you can tell me how it sounds.
