Word on RDC is speculation, and pictures show the engine being removed in Havasu, not Parker.

Nope, Speed has not said anything, all just speculation from the internet, and a picture from the FB that shows the blue car with no motor or trans in it at the Hastings building in Havasu, not Parker

My guess would be they leaned it out a bit too much trying to pass Carb standards.   Probably all 3 car were running different tunes.
