Wrong. 

They do go up and down together. But they do NOT fire at the same time.

 
guys i realize both piston move the same and are at TDC at same time but that does not mean they both "fire at the same time" as mentioned

 
Based on the sound at idle, that's what I suspected. It has that smooth idle you hear on 4 cyl street bikes. My Wildcat engine, by contrast, sounds a lot like a Harley Davidson, a much lower sounding RPM, like a thumper.
