Too bad Mopar discontinued their skid plate kits. Now you have to buy individual parts, naturally, at twice the cost. The Chief trans skid is definitely on my list.

Airing down helps more than anything on the washboard stuff.Went and ran Sandstone Canyon today. Holy washboard Batman. I can still feel my brain slapping from side to side in my skull. I wasn’t able to air down as I still don’t have a compressor set up but I don’t imagine it would have helped.

Yep. Goes from "how long can this vehicle survive this" to "huh, that's annoying". 12-15psi is where we usually air down to.Airing down helps more than anything on the washboard stuff.
A portable Viair setup is a great option. I've had the 300P in my ZJ for years, airing down makes all the difference on that stuff. 15psi is my go-to pressure. I also keep a 400P-RV in the moho as well.Went and ran Sandstone Canyon today. Holy washboard Batman. I can still feel my brain slapping from side to side in my skull.
