Too bad Mopar discontinued their skid plate kits. Now you have to buy individual parts, naturally, at twice the cost. The Chief trans skid is definitely on my list.

Went to Parker/Havasu for the weekend. Only did one “trail” to Swansea Townsite. I say “trail” because it was nearly perfect gravel road until the last 1/2 mile that was a bit rocky. Regardless, it’s a pretty cool place to check out if you’re into mines and ghost towns. Did a few off shoots from the main road that were more challenging. Was going to do another trail Saturday but has an emergency at work that I had to respond to.

Went and ran Sandstone Canyon today. Holy washboard Batman. I can still feel my brain slapping from side to side in my skull. I wasn’t able to air down as I still don’t have a compressor set up but I don’t imagine it would have helped.

Airing down helps more than anything on the washboard stuff.

A portable Viair setup is a great option. I've had the 300P in my ZJ for years, airing down makes all the difference on that stuff. 15psi is my go-to pressure. I also keep a 400P-RV in the moho as well.

Under the knife for the past year and a half.  Built for Moab, Sand Hallow, and LT4 in case I want to dune it.

Went to Joshua Tree NP the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Not a sole in sight on the trails we went on. Only two pics I took of the trip. Had my 16 year old daughter driving on some pretty difficult (IMO) trails. She and I loved it. Wife in the backseat, not so much!
