Had another WJ with us and while coming down from Coyote Flats outside Bishop, it laid an egg in the form of one of its front coil springs. I have not had this issue but I also have the correct length front shocks to keep from completely unloading the front springs whereas they have longer ones for a long arm TJ. I’m also running OME springs which have a taller unloaded height than the Rusty’s springs they have for very similar ride heights. We were on a pretty steep downhill that also leaned toward the side the spring came out from so getting the WJ up enough to shove the spring back in was a bit dicey. I know this is a WJ thing since they don’t have the whenis for the bump stop sticking down inside the spring but dealing with it first hand has made me realize I need to get some retainers installed on mine stat.

Yeeessshhhhh. Damn dude, impressive!

I’m just happy mine did 650 miles round trip without any issues being flat-towed to Lone Pine and back this past week. Plus another almost 800 miles driving all over the Owens Valley while up there.

Little bit of Sandstone Canyon and Fish Creek wash the other weekend. It’s pretty comical how capable that KJ Liberty is behind me with a 2” lift, 31” A/Ts and a rear locker

And was my turn to lay the egg. I have a set of coil spring retainers coming to keep that from happening again 🤣
