1967 Dodge A-100 Hot rod sort of rat rod build thread.

Good question. I will have to ask Spencer about this. He gave me that brake switch to install. It is a 4l65 with a 3000 rpm stall converter. That is a level 6 trans from RPM. Probably no lockup I am guessing?

Wiring is getting very close to being done. All the interior lights light up. Holley computer lights up. Engine oil cooler fan, trans oil cooler fan, and intercooler fans run now. Just finished the engine oil cooler lines. Two soakings with oven cleaner to get that anodize off of those fittings. Saved a lot of money by using stuff laying around. Engine breather tank is all now connected. Found a stainless overflow bottle which I will glass bead and paint black and then mount right here.

Well I'm down to either one of these shifter knobs. Really like them both and can't decide which one I want. Also finally figured out how I'm going to build my center console at least in my head right now. Going to buy a couple new smaller hydro flasks and then use the slip roll and make tubes for them to sit down in the console. Then wrap and weld some chain around the top of each one.

Order them both in Laguna which I think fits the color palette of the truck well.

Busted out the entire fuel system this weekend. Kind of a fun project. All PTFE Fragola except for the vent portion of the system I found some Fragola nylon race hose and power flow fittings which I had to strip and paint. That hose is also ethanol compatible. It doesn't loop up very much and then goes go back down to my rollover valve. But with the baffling in the tank and where that is I will just try it. If I have the tank completely full and on hard braking it may want to push fuel out. Easy for me to loop up higher later if I need to.

What a build! You keep going and the next thing we will see is rust gone and an expensive finish on the body.

Transmission oil cooler lines done. 400 PSI Gates hose. The case is C5 Corvette so the fill is a plug on the side with no dipstick. I could have added a dipstick to this if I had thought about it but then it would have been ugly as well. This looks better anyway.

Airbag system is completely plumbed. Only thing left is to put power to the compressor.

Center console built and fits. Long way to go. I need to put notches in the bottom of it for the seat belts to come up through and clear. Need to hole saw a couple big holes and then slip roll some tubes to make drink holders to drop down in. Might put a little bling on the top of those and wrap a raised little area with some double roller Cloye's timing chain. Welded all together. Then drill all my holes for the switches. If time allows I might powder coat this flat black. Need to find a cool guy cell phone holder and get that mounted right next to the shifter. Rear diff is full of oil. Transmission is full of oil.

Bought a prelube system to run oil pressure in the LS motor. Also bought a couple of these keychains. They were my favorite of all the ones out there.

So like LED cupholders, ya?
