TCM went bad, no stock anywhere in the country ***UPDATE***2nd update--not good!!

What about one from a wrecked one or from a pik-a-part type of place?
most the junkers know they are worth money and they are pulled as soon as they hit the lot lol.

Surprised with all the brainiacs here that no one has started a repair or manufacturing of the part.  It sounds like a gold mine!

check Canada and people i know in Europe too,  nothing

anyone got any friends in Mexico they can try part number 24256861

i have an idea:

my TCM is for 2010-early 2015  then the motor changed and so did the TCM  and tranny version  That TCM is easy to purchase

talked to a tranny guy and said the late 2015 and on tranny could fit right into the earlier trucks and work just fine (ie: same amount of gears etc.) so that means the TCM does the same functions.  I also heard that a later TCM can fit in an earlier application and be able to be programed--just not the other way  for example my 2013 TCM could be programmed for a 2008 truck.  those two have the same TCM connector.  well the later 2015 truck TCM does not have the same connector but its possible i could make an adapter loom for the later TCM to my truck,  who knows?--going to research it a bit

what does this fit any gas models im going to look in my friends tow yard. he got a few gm wrecks there

GM 8.1l BigBlockLS motors have the Allison A1000 tranny too, I'd go look at my TCM but it's a 2004

I have an Ebay seller trying to download my 2013 program onto a 2016 TCM  if it takes it then im going to buy it and make a custom jumper.  who knows maybe it will work and i will become rich selling this.....................lol

Any updates?
it sits in my backyard.  i am looking at the possiblity of using the tcm fireman posted as its operates the same tranny as mine but a newer connector  it would be quite the feat as its 40+ wires to decode,  i already bought the ecu, now trying to get the connector for it with 1 foot of wire to make the harness

I have found new for $120 but would rather have ones with wire from a car as the colors would also confirm pin location and it’s only a test as it may not even work

so with no eta in site (truck has been down for close to 3 months)  i have taken the plunge.  i cut my ecu in half with a band saw, using what is left for a header.  i have special connectors coming and am going to make an adapter harness to use a later model TCM. there are some intial risks but if it works out i will be selling these on ebay and competing against the crazy guys selling used TCM's for $3500 and new ones for $5-9k and i could be selling something that works and has a brand new tcm for the $1500-2k range.  i have spent probably 6 hours with schematics and decoding and transferring pins from an 80 pin connector (my turck) down to a 66pin connector found on almost all gm 2016 and newer like CTS, Camaro, corvette and all the trucks  guessing if all goes well i will be up and running in a week

my progress,  will be desoldering those crazy thin angel hairs and landing all these wires to the new connector

there is only 1 pin that doesnt cross over.  the old ecu has a "replicated TOS signal" that doesnt appear to come out of the newer ecu.

"The Replicated TOS Signal circuit consists of the engine control module (ECM), the transmission control module (TCM) and a communicationline, replicated TOS signal, between the two modules. The transfer case control module (TCCM) controls the 4WD low function. When theoperator selects 4WD low, the TCCM commands the encoder motor to change ranges to 4WD low. The TCCM sends a message to the TCM.The TCM sends a message to the ECM over the Replicated TOS Signal circuit notifying the ECM that the output speed will be changing. TheECM then compensates for transfer case gear reduction in the transmission output shaft speed (OSS) sensor signal. The ECM uses thetransmission OSS sensor signal to adjust shift points, line pressure and torque converter clutch (TCC) scheduling."
