I just talked to my friends that bought a Speed car used recently. They had a X3 max for years and now have the Speed car just spent a week at Glamis going everywhere in the dunes to the border wall and said no issues the car worked very well.. They told me after they went to Sand Hollow when they first got it their daughter likes to go on rides now because it is much better suited for her than the X3 was.. Just their opinion but Glad they are out Having fun

What did they mean by better suited for her? Just easier to see out of? the X3's you kinda lean back and you can't see what's in front of you.

I find it amusing that the haters always add a year.. They also fail to mention (over and over again) what it was the first year, to what it became the following year.. Which is where it should start..

When I was about to drop a deposit May 2020, they were "selling it" as would be shipped/delivered by SSSS 2020. So I see where people say 5yrs but I'd be at 4.75 right now ha ha. In August of 2020 the song started to change about delivery deadlines maybe by ssss but Q1 2021 for sure....

Yes their daughter said it was better to see out of and in Her words felt more secure like she feels riding in there Truck.. The X3 wasn't a bad car she just feels better in the speed car..

Car 62 is still here. Just had an amazing day in Glamis with 0 issues.
Will say that I lost all of last season due to Coyne and that’s a long ass story.
Last weekend I finally got seat time in the dunes with a MavR, pro R, and managed to keep up just fine.

1st spot was Sand Highway, which he called the largest whoops he could find
2nd spot was Oldsmobile hill
3rd Sand Highway again
4th Oldsmobile
5th small dunes between vendor row and olds
6th Olds

looked to buck the rear quite a bit

The whoops at the bottom of Olds are gigantic these days.

Looks like it started at 60, slowed to 45 or so. Power is definitely lacking compared the the other 2.

The second time he hits it slower and the peak speed is around 40.

Either way, needs that Speed Key for sure.

The whoops at the bottom are huge and suck ass unless you hit them at 45+mph. The whoops in the middle and top are tolerable.

Speed car is going as fast as my friend's 4 seat turbo S.

@HozayKwarvo and I ran up Olds but @Chummin pussed out in his Speed and didn't come with us. Can confirm that the whoops were no joke; my car works pretty damn good through the whoops and it bucked my ass end up at least once if not a couple times on our hit.

Usually around 48-52mph when I have checked. I don't bomb those whoops at the bottom. I will have to check next time now that I have new clutches.

Yeah, wife's 2017 sees somewhere in the 40s, but it's accelerating the whole way up since she's not a fan of bombing those whoops either.

Those whoops at the bottom are not worth bombing through. Need to get some trucks and those screens to drag the hill and smooth it out. Even when the wind blows for several days the whoops do not completely go away.
