They go all the way up the hill now. My buggy turns them into doubles. Lol
 
RG posted yesterday they have delivered 1,100 cars to date.

I really thought at minimum it was more then double that number....

I think the Youts only ran 1 lap for that. I remember seeing that they finished waaay early in the overall race. Maybe that's why they're marked "DNF"?

This is correct, yes the Youth class did one lap, and the Speed finished first.

For a little more detail, RG did finish the race, but not on time, he broke 2 axles, they hiked out, and finished, but technically a DNF. Max, only went about 10 miles, they've been quiet about what broke.
 
What's the deal with the love affair between Speed and the guys at Joe Fab? I like the videos the guy does @duneaddict on YouTube showing all the repairs they do there. But anytime a Speed car goes by or comes up in conversation it's like they cream themselves and talk about how great the cars are because they never come in for repairs. What am I'm missing?

Missing high numbers of vehicles in the dunes so there arent many repairs compared to the other manufacturers is all I can think of. Once more of them are out in the whiles, they'll be getting wadded up just like the rest.

Dude said they are better than a sandrail. LOL!

They were welding on a broken drive shaft on a Speed UTV this past weekend. Unless they can fix a motor, clutch, or the transmission they are not gong to see that many in for repairs.

But the suspension, chassis and geometry are great !
