- **Max Gordon**: Suffered a shock failure due to the course’s punishing demands, ending his day early.
I agree.I’m 100% confident a few independent teams racing a Speed would have better results then RG & team have had.
I 100% agree. Robbie has always struggled keeping his trucks together, for some reason his racing prep has been mediocre in my opinion.I’m 100% confident a few independent teams racing a Speed would have better results then RG & team have had.
Combined with an "in it to win it" racing attitude, yeah...I 100% agree. Robbie has always struggled keeping his trucks together, for some reason his racing prep has been mediocre in my opinion.
That appears to be exactly what happened this last race.I’m 100% confident a few independent teams racing a Speed would have better results then RG & team have had.
**Suspension Performance**: The Speed cars, handled the mixed terrain and challenging conditions AS EXPECTED, allowing the Speed team to racer the front all day.
I think the 4th Speed car that had the good finish is also part of the RG team. That appears to be exactly what happened this last race.
Well, fine!I think the 4th Speed car that had the good finish is also part of the RG team.
So bad they beat all but 6 Trophy Trucks (regardless of class) and every single Class 1 and Class 10 entry in the Baja 1000 lol.
And 8th in KOH's 4400 unlimited class with last year's X3.... This February should be entertaining. So bad they beat all but 6 Trophy Trucks (regardless of class) and every single Class 1 and Class 10 entry in the Baja 1000 lol.

They must’ve redone the entire suspension to put semi-trailing arms on it like the 1960 Corvair, since the geometry sucks.Rumor is CT Raceworks built some badass Mav Rs for the 4400 class race for Chaney and Miller brothers.
That trucks first problem was a rear flat tire going down. You could see it folding over and pulling off the beadlock. Once it dug in to the berm it was all over. Also the front twin I-beam suspension is awesome for cheap wheel travel, but it’s got goofy geometry, which definitely did not help it.
Another rollover. Must be geometry related too. Can someone calculate the track width change on a live axle? The math isn’t mathing for me…
