Speed UTV

I LOVED when sales sold a Motorcycle, Dirt Bike or Quad. There were always accessories that folks NEEDED.

Hell even a new Zieman trailer needed a spare tire, hitch lock, 7 pin plug adapter, etc.

But nothing beat a new Watercraft or pair of Sea Doo even better.....we fought for those accessory deals in parts LOL.

Life Jackets, Anchor Bags, Safety Flag, PWC Cover and on and on... $$$

I can only imagine UTV Accessories sales today, of course these "Dealer Built-up" builds are crazy....but everyone in the dealership gets their slice of that pie.

I got out of that industry right before the Rhino hit Yamaha showroom floors, but my buddies at other dealers talked about the Polaris Rangers that they could not keep in stock, being sold above MSRP. Nobody was buying our KAW Mules, everyone wanted that ranger....to take to river, Glamis, etc.

I missed the UTV craze by that much...

Rhino craze was good times.  Art Wood was working at Montclair Motorsports and was the first to stock done up Rhinos.   Back then I think you could get a decked out Rhino for $16-$20K.

Art then moved over to Bert' s and soon the $40K and up builds started showing up at the Sand Show.

The Early days are always the best... Come on @Lord of the Dunes you can ride in the backseat...LOL

I was imagining a Speed dealer on Aruba or RG announcing they are making watercraft.  LOL!!!!
Been there once in 2003 for my honeymoon.. SXSs are fun on little islands. Rented an Wild Cat on Naxos island in Greece when I went there October 2019.

Was a blast!

Reports of a small airplane carrying five people crashed in the Glamis area supposedly it had a decent amount of nuclear material on board not much more information yet

crash was confirmed by Yuma Marine/civilian airbase

Definitely sounds better than the 2-banger “blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah”

And, that was insane air landing on its side. Physics are a bitch, something had to break, lol.

Clevis made it though.

Going to have to be honest here. That side load was not that bad. The air was big. But really? That wasn't horrible.

I've hit 10x worse in my canam and it didn't react the same.
You’ve gotten bigger air than that landing at a 30* angle…?

Side load was enough to shear the 7075 radius rods…
