First time ever, a road team has hit 6 Dingers in a playoff game. Historic win in LA.

He has always been a gamer, just not sure his arm is up to the task anymore. Would be nice for the Dodgers not to be way behind right from the jump for once. Got to try and steal one and make it back to LA.Walker Buehler has his career on the line tonight. Free agent at the end of the year . . .
PS Just reported that he and his wife were robbed at Santa Anita recently.

Nonsense..... There is tribal type stupidity going on at every athletic event. Never underestimate the stupidity of inebriated people in large numbers. That being said, the whole dust up started with Profar egging those clowns on in left field and then Machado chucking a baseball towards the Dodgers dugout in the direction of Roberts. Don't care for Machado, going back to his few months as a rental Dodger. There is a reason why they decided NOT to be the ones to pay him. But, we've had our own dumbbells over the years (Puig, Bauer, Urias come to mind), so its all relative to which team you root for.Eff the Doyers! Go Padres..I hope they smoke them from here on out!
Turner didn't want to stay with the Dodgers, he wanted back on the East Coast. As for Seager, it was all about timing, he was a free agent and we had Turner on the roster another year. And neither wanted to change positions. Remember, we got Turner because Seager got hurt. Why didn't they sign Turner or Seager ? At least Seager said he got to win a REAL WS with Texas last yr, one that actually countsEven Dodger fans have to admit that was funny.
No one likes Machado, That being said, Roberts is softer than puppy shit! He is trying, begging, to do anything to get LA to have the same energy as the Padres and Petco Park.
Trea Turner was/is a great player, loved watching him play as a Dodger. The Dodgers, despite the seemingly unlimited resources, don't just spend money blindly. Turner's skill set, historically, does not age well as a player moves into his mid 30's. To get him signed would have been a HUGE contract over a long term (Phillies did 11 years). They would have, most likely, had to eat the back half of it, which they weren't willing to risk. He was worth a bazillion dollars per year over 3-5 years, but beyond that was a gamble they didn't want to take. Plus, back then, Lux was a high ceiling possibility at shortstop. You can't predict a freak injury where Lux blows up his knee in spring training last year, and hasn't really been the same player since.Disagree, Turner said he wanted to stay, its on record and LA never made him an offer. Lets keep the facts straight.
Trea Turner might have stayed in L.A., but Dodgers never made him an offer
The Dodgers never came close to signing Trea Turner to a long-term contract even though the Phillies shortstop said he would have entertained an offer.sports.yahoo.com
