Lol, can't blame SD fans for wishing Kershaw was out there. In his defense, in prior years, he was very often put out there on short rest and/or out of the bullpen when the Dodgers were completely out of other options. Generally, it didn't go well, nor would it have for most pitchers, even the great ones. He was the face of the franchise making the big bucks, and took on that responsibility, when plenty of guys wouldn't have. So, it shouldn't tarnish his legacy. Looking forward to this series, it couldn't possibly go worse than last year's debacle against the Diamondbacks.Believe me, SD fans want him to pitch also. He is built for a 60 game season these days, Definitely a HOF pitcher, but he has been washed for a while.
Should be a lot of good October baseball this weekend !
