Off season remodel and prep

I’ll get some pictures up asap. I can’t seem to figure out how to get pictures to load from my phone. It used to work no problem and since upgrading phones this one can’t get it done. Anyone having the same issues?

 
If you are adding more power, I would recommend doing a S4 swap.  :)

added some sea deck to the floor pans and added foam tape to all the rest of the panels this thing is 1000 times quieter absolutely recommend this stuff if you don't have any sort of sound deadening. it also feels more like an exotic car than ever. IMG_0307.JPEGIMG_0306.JPEGIMG_0308.JPEG

One more little thing before veterans weekend.
I decided last minute to take the wing apart and powder coat it and make these little billet looking bezels around the individual lights with some c7 corvette inspired flare.

The wing was wrapped many years ago with some carbon fiber printed vinyl and i couldn’t stand looking at it against an almost perfect restoration (My opinion). I also couldn’t wait one more week to see it in dune mode and damn I’m stoked with the way she turned out. see you guys veterans weekend if you see us out there come say what’s up. Update. Car is running great had her out for veterans weekend and thanksgiving with a couple small issues. The Tatum steering rack decided to spit grease and power steering fluid out all over the front of the car so it’s currently back at Tatum for another rebuild. And lost a fuel pump but who knows how long it’s been in the car luckily I had a spare and was back up and duning within a few minutes. The old turn key ls6 is getting tired so that 383 build is coming sooner than I would have hoped. I’m also going through the shocks to get them dialed in the rear end is packing up in the chatter pretty bad so me and 602evo are going to play with it this weekend to get a game plan on the valving. Well I’m an idiot and can’t be satisfied. When I redid the car I intended on swapping out the seats after this season but since they are standard 14x18 mounting points I never thought about any of the other issues I’d likely run into so I didn’t worry about it. Well I got new seats and they were very different. The mounting points were the same but the height and recline angle were different so here I am cutting into a “brand new” car. I’ll leave the passenger seat in there for now so my boys car seat doesn’t mess up my nice new seat. I’m very grateful to have access to a plasma table and learned some modeling skills. making brackets this way is a game changer. Made these out of 304 stainless steel I’ll touch up the paint around the weld area but I’ll “brush” the rest of the bracket. I chose this route so I didn’t have to re powder coat the entire car lol.
