Everyone welcome, Hurricane Hilary

Saw some pictures of home Depot with tons of people there trying to get sandbags. Our local Costco ran out of gas and milk. The local stores don't have any water or toilet paper.

Just saw a post about the Navy pulling the ships out of the harbor and everyone's flipped out saying if the Navy is evacuating we're all dead..

I think people have been trained to panic...
Meanwhile, hear TN…”Severe thunderstorm advisory with tornado warning.  Now, today was a good day to get out on the water because the humidity was so low.  Hope you all got out and had fun.”

The only thing that’s scary is the name…

I feel like im the only one not concerned. I actually know multiple people that packed up and left tow . Albertsons in alpine was a zoo. I went in for tri tip and ice cream. Everyone else has water canned food and toilet paper.
You are not alone😎😎. Epic sunset and enough beers for the next few days.

Sorta looking forward to it. Went to Sycuan on the way to Yogurt Mill to fill up the Jeep (forgot it was out until I got in it), what a madhouse.

This will be me tomorrow

Not concerned either. Went to Walmart to pick up some laundry soap and other things that had nothing to do with storm prep. The lines were crazy and I couldn’t figure out why! Ended up paying for my 4 items at the vehicle center and bouncing. Then it dawned on me that people are actually prepping for this! I did go fill a couple gas cans for the generator if power goes out.

Well, people a LOT smarter than me are looking at radars and have HUGE computers to tell them what to think....they seem to think it's gonna be something big......I listen to them.  When  you're in charge of a 5 billion dollar boat...why not move it out?

The difference for us in San Diego is that every huge storm that is supposed to rock our world ends up missing us. I’m not saying it’s not gonna rain but my house isn’t gonna float away. As for the wind, if it ends up blowing like they think it may, than my concerns are for the huge tree in my neighbors yard that may or may not come down on my house. Either way, nothing I can do about it.

Fire station across the street always has a pile of sand and bags free to the public. Yesterday they ran out of sand and put up a sign- NO SAND DO NOT DIG THE GRASS

Looks like they got more sand today cause there's 15 cars parked and loading up.

Those are the same people who wore masks, were triple boosted, and bought all of the TP during a respiratory virus…. Never can be too prepared! Might lose a fence that’s barely hanging on in this one. Maybe my neighbor will actually help fix it then!

We have had some nice cooler weather the last few days down here in North Alabama but the heat is coming back. I’ll be back up that way in Shelbyville and Winchester next week delivering car parts and pencils.👍

Huge dog results in lots of fence fixing help.

Not much for rain so far.  Winds picking up.

So freaking hot and humid last night..

Feeling a little let down with this storm. Just a steady drizzle, no wind.

Good day for some hammocks and beans.. Got a big ham steak to throw in. Hope that's not my only excitement for the day..

If that’s the case hit us up! There is zero wind at my house and a light drizzle.

Just a light drizzle at our house since about 2 am.  It’s just starting to puddle up in the flowerbeds and no wind.
