Everyone welcome, Hurricane Hilary

It's looking like the River strip from Mehico to Powell is gonna get blasted...expect roads to be screwed for quite a long time...  We'll see how the fixes on the 10 did with this rain....

These are the only things that scare the daylights out of me. Neighbors (whatever type lol) trees towering over my living room. Not sure how strong they get but these damn things are nearly 40 feet tall. Other than that, let it rip!

Homeless clean-up on all aisles downtown.
Will it wash them away? Maybe, but it’ll at least wash them.

I see 75mph gusts in the valley I’m in all the time during Santa Ana wind storms, neighbor still has his entire row. You’ll be alright…

Until you aren’t.

Neighbors (whatever type lol)
Italian Cypress. Neighbor has 3 of them and a few years ago we had a microburst that came through the area. Lost many power poles and roofs were damaged but those thing just swayed in the wind and never broke.

Are you my neighbor?

Nope, mine are WAY MORE overgrown then that...LOL.

They sway like those dancing balloon figures you see at Used Tire shops.

Just went to the grocery store.. walked right out.,, 20-25 per line… hours I’m sure.

Not worried about this storm, plus I have a full pallet of Patriot Supply I bought a couple of years ago. 1 year supply 2k calories per day for 1 person so family of 4, 3 months.

Hide yo kids.. hide yo wife!

I bet we see plenty of stranded people trying to drive their Tesla's through 7 feet of water. That seems to always happen when we get a good downpour. I frequently drive Euclid Ave. in Chino down by Prado damn. They've had to put a gate across the lanes of traffic to close it off because people will attempt to drive through it.

Fire station across the street always has a pile of sand and bags free to the public. Yesterday they ran out of sand and put up a sign- NO SAND DO NOT DIG THE GRASS

Looks like they got more sand today cause there's 15 cars parked and loading up.

They are closing the beach campgrounds and kicking people out. Meanwhile I’m over here bbqing and having some beers.😎😎

Saw some pictures of home Depot with tons of people there trying to get sandbags. Our local Costco ran out of gas and milk. The local stores don't have any water or toilet paper.

Just saw a post about the Navy pulling the ships out of the harbor and everyone's flipped out saying if the Navy is evacuating we're all dead..

I think people have been trained to panic...

I feel like im the only one not concerned. I actually know multiple people that packed up and left tow . Albertsons in alpine was a zoo. I went in for tri tip and ice cream. Everyone else has water canned food and toilet paper.

My feeble attempt to protect my dirt driveway.

Gen ready, plenty of food and water.

And TP

Expecting wind and rain and nothing else.
