1967 Dodge A-100 Hot rod sort of rat rod build thread.

If you're running a braided line between the master and slave, maybe go to 3/16 steel? Eliminate as much play as possible.

No doubt you'll figure it out! 👍🏼
I had planned on trying to make that a solid metal line yes. Might have to have a couple connectors with unions in there.

ICT steam Port kit. Four times the cost of the Hardline kits on eBay but after reading a bunch of the reviews I think it will be worth it. Really nice kit the way it fits.

Well as Derek from vice grip garage says I did a Craigslist rebuild on these coil packs. Tore them apart cleaned and painted and then wrapped another layer of tape over. Then some dielectric grease. This is the old style gen 3 coils with the heat sinks. These were pretty beat up and there is some chips and dings on them. Although LS coils are very robust I'm going to buy another set so I can either change out one or a whole Bank of four. Normally around a hundred bucks for a used set but I think I have a line on a set really cheap. Stay tuned for that. I mounted these low out of sight and I think I'm going to make some sort of little shield in the front of them so a rock cant come back and tear things up.

I don't know the decibel rating on those horns but they are nasty.

I had to drill out the spot welds to remove those original panels in each corner. That left a bunch of drill marks. I'm not doing any painting inside the cab I don't have to and want to keep as much original patina just like the outside. So I'm making inch and a quarter trim pieces which will have Allen bolts and they will be painted bronze. That corner was tricky and took the shrinker stretcher and the slip roller to make. You can see with the piece of cardboard taped on how a straight piece fits. Still have to make the driver side piece.

Oh and also behind the straight piece going across there is a bunch of air space. Plenty of room to use a few longer Allen bolts and put Adel clamps to run the harness across under that lip.

Got my side pieces done for my stereo receiver and fuse panel box. Lots of angles and welding. Spencer killed it on the AC and heater lines. They are all hooked up to the unit. Looks like we'll probably have to put a vacuum pump on it for the AC to work correctly.

Temporary center console and switch panel. Probably end up driving the truck for a little while with this. Then build one the way I want it. More fab and curves to it.

We ran 12 volts to those black LED bulbs I bought and they are awful. So I ordered some regular style LED bulbs.
