I was on the commercial HVACR side. This is my last week working for Emcor out of El Cajon.Who do you work for?
I was Parts and Accessory Manager for a HON/KAW/SUZ/POL/BRP Dealer in the 90's....what a blast that job was, between Sales and Repair...all guys who rode, raced, etc.Motorcycle/atv/sxs mechanic. Went to MMI in PHX and have been in the industry more than 20yrs. Currently work at a small kawi dealership north of Denver (endobear, drive by that house a lot, have seen it and thought it was amazing since I was a kid coming out here to ski with my parents!). This industry isn't as great as it used to be, too corporate and money driven now. The shop I'm at is more like the old '90s/'00s shops that still has fun and really tries to take care of people. This year has hit the industry hard, to the point that were down to a skeleton crew and I'm currently the only tech, not sure if/how long we'll stay open. We don't have the traffic, sales or service, that we have had in the past, it all just kind of stopped, which I've heard from a lot of other shops. So I'm thinking about changing careers, not which direction yet, we'll see when it happens I guess, haha.
I have a couple buddies that went there. I have been at AOR for 23 yearsI was on the commercial HVACR side. This is my last week working for Emcor out of El Cajon.
I am a Fireman worked on a Hotshot crew, Brush Engines, City Engines and been assigned to a Truck Company for the last 13 years. Stayed a Fireman the whole time love the job some days are fun and the others can really suck. You see people in there worst times and try to make the situation better. If your looking for a fun career this could be it but you won’t be ever be rich. I Have 3 ½ years left until retirement then I will see where life takes me. But the best thing is we have raised 2 great kids. My Son an apprentice lineman and my Daughter is in the Navy working on Jet Engines while going to Embry Riddle working towards her engineering degree.
I have been following you on the gram for years. You have some awesome footage of foamers! How do I get gps coordinates to those ?Commercial Fisherman. I fly an airplane, May thru November, all day over the ocean spotting fish for commercial fishermen and some sportfishing friends. And I take a few pics/videos while I'm out there.

You have any openings @dbart ?Went to Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) close to 30 years ago. Graduated at the top of my class and was offered a job at American Honda the corporation in the service shop. I was prepping motorcycles for photoshoots, press launches, etc.
In 1994 I moved to the Motocross Race Team for around 13 years. I was in charge of all the parts for the race bikes from production to one of pieces from Japan, sponsorship agreements, travelling to races, test mechanic, etc. I had the pleasure of working with some of the greats. Jeremy Mcgrath, Jeff Stanton, Doug Henry, Kevin Windham, and Ricky Carmichael to name a few.
Next I was moved to Experiential Marketing. If you look at @dbart post I was the one that would help design and oversee the install of our displays at all the motorcycle events. Everything from MotoGP, Daytona Bike Week, IMS indoor events, Farm Shows, Supercross, SxS events, Hunting and Fishing Shows, Adventure Rallies, Demo Rides. (I did the Ride and Drives at KOA and Glamis with the Talon)
In 2023 they moved all of Powersports to Georgia and I couldn't make the move. So that ended my almost 28 years at Honda.
Next I went to work for Greenger Powersports. https://www.greengerpowersports.com/product/crf-e2/
I helped launch the E2 Electric Motorcycle that was a collaboration with Honda. It was great to be working with a lot of people from Honda again. I was in charge of Sales, Marketing, Social Media, Digital Ads, Print Ads, Web Design, Point of Purchase Material, Demo rides, HR, Payroll, pretty much everything. I was there a year and the owner was way to overbearing.
I'm currently unemployed but looking for the right job.
If you DM me and I have current info, sometimes I can be bribed!Cocksmith
