Heads are Looking good!

I am still amazed how many factory pieces are still used to make that much HP. 

I am just finishing a new LS, granted it should make more HP, but to keep it dead reliable, the the only factory pieces are the rockers arms and they are modified ... 

It says something about the strength and design of the Subi, even my old 500HP 2.5 had a closed deck and that was about it, and its got 10 seasons on it

10 seasons!? I couldn’t get more than 2 out of closed deck Subaru. We ran the car between 20 and 25 psi of boost constant though. What kind of boost were you running to get 10 seasons?

I sold the car after 3 seasons - guy who bought it I see all the time he probably spends 20-30 days a year in the dunes - 15 lbs boost  good gas, huge intercooler, frequent oil changes  and he says AMSOIL is the key  - turbo seal has gone out a couple times, still runs hard

What pieces are still Subi? Block, heads, misc small parts like the oil pump?  It seems like almost anything that moves is aftermarket.

He changed direction! Has a nice LS2 on a pallet in the rack at the shop and is going to put it in 3rd gear and cruise the dunes!

 
Sorry guys, Life's in the way.  Work, House and moms been back n forth to the hospital.
