Can you tease us with some specs for the motor? Is it a 3.2? What do you spin yours to?
its a hybrid 3.2 liter. basically its a 3.6 motor with a custom modified crank to fit a 3.6 motorCan you tease us with some specs for the motor? Is it a 3.2? What do you spin yours to?
Love these black and gold hoses. are they a crimp fitting ?Dyno days coming up.
Would like to add a 6 stage boost controller.
E85 Sensor

are the tires slipping on the rollers?
We had rubber chunks coming off when we dyno'd my last engine at 650hp. Id imagine hes smoking them in this video too.are the tires slipping on the rollers?
Working thru some technical stuff and setting up the AEM infinity ECU to control the boost. Two ways to go a about it with my setup. One is buy a stand alone boost controller. That's the easy way. Or, use the AEM system to control boost settings. That's the harder way but you all should know me by now. Hahaha.Any Updates??
On my 2.5 Car, I ran it at 14.5 lbs. 450 ish HP. The engine was built to handle over 20 lbs but never went there. That car is still running strong today. I bet 7 years now....on my subaru car it was all the boost. once I drove it @25psi I never turned it back down. never enough boost
Even need 4 positions? A lit latching push button with an inline fuse and light for off/ALL TEH BOOOOOOOOOOOOOST YO!!!! might be plenty. :biggrin:Working thru some technical stuff and setting up the AEM infinity ECU to control the boost. The AEM infinity from my research has tables and percentages that need to be based then use the base to build from.
Unlike a standalone boost controller, this Infinity can be used for a multitude of controls and settings.
The AEM supplies boost dial switch is 12 position. John and I agree we don't need 12 options and it's just not attractive. It looks like a toaster oven timer. John's sourcing a mil spec 4 position switch that will work with the 5 volt reference and break that voltage down in those steps. Basically a dial potentiometer with 4 stops.
I'm thinking this week will be time to add some fuel to the tank.
Cars on the dyno. Making good power with low boost around 5-6 lbs. Going to set the base boost at 10 lbs and build the tune from there.Anything New
