The GM52 Funco Hustler clone conversion

Congratulations on finally getting everything dialed in. I love the way that intake looks.
I do too. It sure tucks away nice. Did some research on it when Adam said thats what he wanted to use. It;s a torque monster intake. I think it would look and work great with twin turbos as well. This engine pulls harder than my G52 with either the 415 or the 425 that went in it. Just runs fantastic. Perfect fit for me right now.

Congrats GM.
Car looks and sounds awesome.
I know that you’ve been through a lot to get it the way you want but that’s because you’re a guy that loves to dune and knows what he wants to enjoy life.
Good luck.

was always baffled on why you did that 6cyl. nice set up
Low center of gravity, balance, horsepower, nimble and wheel base. After my first EPO I was sold on all of this. I am done chasing this and 650 Hp from the subi isnt going to make me happy. 750Hp was right on the money from this engine but without getting deeper into it with more parts like turbo, intercooler etc it wasn't going to last. Example. My last 2.5 Subi from John was built to handle 25 lbs boost and make 550/600 range of HP. That would have been a seasonal rebuild. I left it at 14 lbs boost and 450 ish hp and its still running today. 7 years on that engine. This Subi 6 3.2 at 650ish hp will provide that or should provide that type of life span but, I am not the same driver I once was, I am not satisifed with the 650 Subi Hp and torque. Time will tell on this LS3 and I am happy to report back after the new year on how its working. The gearing and torque from this LS and the balance I already built into the car seems to be as good as I can get from this wheel base and current weight.

Plans to weight the car in a few weeks to see the difference.

Ill post that comparision as well.

As I read my own post, I gotta say I just cant settle on anything. I am currently sitting on this rebuilt Subi 6 and a rebuilt 4.5 Whipple LS7. You should be in my head right now. hahahahahaha

Cheers.
