Foam board insulation will be used. The trailer wiring is ran already. You can see some of the wires sticking off the walls and what not.

Yes they are insulating all the walls and ceiling. I will have the floor spray foamed when I get the trailer home by one of my suppliers.

Some thing similar to this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RMAX-Pro-Select-R-Matte-Plus-3-1-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-R-6-0-Foam-Insulation-Board-637900/313501508

Thank you sir! I’m excited to get it!

Interior is getting insulated and primed.

I went with as large of a loft as I could with still leaving room in front of the lift. I was going to go a different interior color but figure i prefer the brightness of white inside more than the looks.

The lower 36” of the walls will be done with carpet.

And now you are all caught up to what pictures I have.

These are from a week ago. It took 5 weeks to get from deposit to here. Trailer should be ready about the end of the month for pickup.. barring any issues with getting parts.

I have a couple concerns that will need to be addressed.
First the led lights bezels are white. They’ll be yellow in no time if left so I will make them swap them out.

We brought the loft back so it’s just in front of the lift. My build specs a ladder for it. There is no place to put the ladder at this point if I have a car on the lift. They will need to Cut an access in the loft for the ladder.

Otherwise I hope to get new updates this week and will share them when I do.

How much fuel and water is this bad boy gonna carry?
About 100 gallons of fuel, two tanks that are selectable so I can fill one with race and the other with pump if so desired.

And then about 50 gallons of water. It will have a sink in it that will just dump onto the ground so I can wash my hands and what not.

I’m actually pretty excited about that part as I don’t like dredging into the motorhome after working on something or cooking just to wash my hands.

Love the sink deal. Wish I had that, would get used a lot.

I like your duel fuel tank concept. Will it will be one pump and nozzle or two separate? Now you got me thinking about duel tanks for my upcoming build. I don't need racing fuel but thinking it might be nice to carry gas for the toys and then an extra diesel tank for the Moho. And if I went this route I could do a diesel gen in the the trailer instead of needing to be gas. Crap, thanks a lot, there goes another 15k or so 🙂🤑🤑

Are you worried about some a-hole seeing your sink dump on the ground and giving you grief? I like the sink concept but seems like more hassle than worth? I just use the waterless hand cleaner and paper towels then go in the moho for a final clean.

It's not illegal for sink water to go directly to the ground in ISDRA.  It becomes illegal when it hits a tank first.

I played this game with a dipshit ranger once.

That is correct, I have a sink in my stacker and it drains straight to the ground. Never had an issue with the rangers, but if you think about it, its not like your taking a shower and leaving a big puddle. I never thought about having a sink in the trailer, it came with it. After having one in the trailer, it will be mandatory on any replacement trailer down the road. It really helps keep the motorhome clean, especially after having to fix a cv or something of that nature.

This is a strange concept. You don't just work on your stuff while cooking up some food and flipping stuff over on the grill by hand (cuz where's the stupid spatula thingy?) and then eat said food with the same unwashed hands??

Even if it was a shower it would be OK.  Many POP-UP type trailers have a shower and no grey tank.

Did you win right there with the ranger or did you have to go to court and have the judge over rule the ranger? I called blm and they told me that they are able to write rules for specific areas that they manage and this was one of them. I would LOVE to hear that a shower plumbed straight to the ground is legal.

The ranger was a woman.  How do you think it went?

I paid the fine, fought via mail, and got my money back.  I honestly wasn't specifically contesting the ticket, more the fine about.  It was 10 times what the CVC called for on the 1st offense.  But, I did state that I wasn't in violation of the Code, and cited the code text.  A few weeks later I got a check in the mail.  No letter or anything in the envelope.  Just a check.

I had posted about it on the old site with the CVC for grey water and what is, and is not, considered grey water dumping.  It specifically states (or at least did at the time) it is only ILLEGAL when coming from a holding tank.
