Stacker build

I used to use a shower tent. It's a 4'x4' tent that looks like an outhouse. You hang a plastic bag of water in it and clean your parts. It's made to drain onto the ground around it. I bought it at sportsman's warehouse.

I realize the sink dumping to the ground issue is off topic but I gotta ask; if you can dump gray water to the ground as long as it doesn't go to a tank first then why doesn't everyone that takes an RV to G (or elsewhere) install a bypass dump valve so all their gray tank water can go to the ground? Not arguing, just asking.

Some have. But the rangers at G will still come over and write you a ticket.

I would guess the gray area here is "does it have one installed" not "is it being used".  if it has one installed you have to use it.

I think if its just a sink for the occasional hand wash its not that big of a deal but if its for showering it would be a bigger mess. Tent campers have no grey tank and wash dishes in portable sinks and dump it on the ground.

In my situation, the trailer didn't have a grey tank.  So, after the hassle with miss know it all, I just took one of the 3" caps for the RV drain gate that has a 3/4" male garden hose thread on it, a female garden hose to 3/4" pvc slip fitting, and extended some pipe back to drain between the axles.

You couldn't see it drain or the wet spot it made after that.

how much is the ticket.
No idea. I just know that they aren't going to be interested in having a conversation with you about it. If you take the ticket and go to court your chances of winning are good. In Kraut's case I would've made it a point to find the ranger after the fact and let her know that she was wrong and justice had prevailed, but that's just me.

I like your duel fuel tank concept. Will it will be one pump and nozzle or two separate? Now you got me thinking about duel tanks for my upcoming build. I don't need racing fuel but thinking it might be nice to carry gas for the toys and then an extra diesel tank for the Moho. And if I went this route I could do a diesel gen in the the trailer instead of needing to be gas. Crap, thanks a lot, there goes another 15k or so 🙂🤑🤑

Are you worried about some a-hole seeing your sink dump on the ground and giving you grief? I like the sink concept but seems like more hassle than worth? I just use the waterless hand cleaner and paper towels then go in the moho for a final clean.
I’m sorry for the delay I’ve been in glamis all week.

Same hose.. but it will be interesting to see what they come up with to make it work. I have a feeling I’ll be modifying it to fit my needs..

Not worried at all. Just this week I was saying to myself how I wished I had that sink while I was barbecuing and had messy hands.

A few updated exterior photos.

Exterior trim is all installed.

Looks like the fuel station is done as well. I can’t tell from the pics how it’s setup but it is done off a quick disconnect.

I had this on my last trailer as well and didn’t mind it. But I may modify it into a reel just inside the door. But I’ve got to get my cars loaded first to see if I have clearance.

Interior work being done.

Lower 36” of walls getting plywood and carpet. Cabinets being built. Coin floor down.
I told them to plan a simple stereo with a sub as I like some tunes but don’t need my neighbors to hear.. from the looks of the amps in the first picture they took it a little more serious lol..

Still waiting on the lift to show up..

Super happy with the progress and how it’s coming together though!

This is about week 7 since deposit.. 😳

Definitely very impressive on how quick they are moving... especially given current times.

I would definitely go with a reel. I had a quick disconnect before and it was a pian. I would have fuel everywhere.

Thank you, where did you put your reel? How many feet of hose?

As mentioned I had a quick disconnect on my last trailer and didn’t mind it. But think the idea of a reel sounds good!

They got the led lights swapped out with black bezels, looks lots better!

They got the rear taillights installed as well as the back door coin flooring installed and the winch operating.

If parts show up this should be ready shortly!

I think the hose is about 25' and I mounted on the ceiling driver side. I don't have a stacker so it was a bit easier.

It's so much easier with the reel versus the hose with a quick disconnect.
