Speed UTV

I saw one speed at Olds that looked respectable going up the hill. It wasn't crazy fast or anything, but it wasn't getting smoked by everything. Maybe it was running the speed key? Or maybe they just having the clutching better or something. Because I saw several last season that were turds going up the hill.

2 seat Bandit or 4 Seat El Jefe? The weight difference between the two without passengers is several hundred pounds. I’d expect a smaller Bandit to out perform the 4 seater in the dunes. Plus Speeds OEM clutching is set the same for all 3 models.

It was car 1272. Looks like an el Diablo to me? Here's a pic at the drags, where it also ran pretty well.

Imagine if the Speed had something like the Pro R 2.0l inline-four engine with 225hp as it base platform.

No BS Turbo nonsense, just power on demand and the torque to lug that heavy pig around.

That motor need to go, needing the Speed Key to be competitive? Sounds unreliable, that's not fun.

That’s a bad ass picture. Car looks good and has the front wheels off the ground and rears are spinning hard.

I wonder what he did to get that power?
Partially in the air from the mid-run whoops that plague the drags these days. Suspension is drooped out in the rear and the tires aren't squished at all..
