I could swear I saw a set up that looked just like this...
Love this set up! Wish they made it in a 32 or 34.View attachment 19785On the way out to out to Glamis!View attachment 19786
Thank you! Yes a little shorter would definitely allow a longer trailer and more garage space.Love this set up! Wish they made it in a 32 or 34.

Cleanest looking CC I've seen! that 625HP C15 must be nice!!2008 CC. Usually on pad 3 or 5 depending on ghost rigs. Has the C15, 625 HP, it’s a beast.

8.1 and an Allison is a super bad ass combo for a gasser, and somewhat hard to find!Workhorse W22 chassis with the 8.1 & Allison trans.
check out https://www.ultrarvproducts.com/ for chassis parts/upgrades. They were great to work with when I had my Kodiak-super C and did a bunch of suspension work to it including front and rear track bars, sway bars, Koni shocks, etc.No where near as nice as some of the other RV’s. But it’s been good for our family. 2003 Fleetwood Southwind 33ft on a Workhorse W22 chassis with the 8.1 & Allison trans.

A few weeks ago we had a front tire blow out at 65mph while towing. Scary ride, but never lost control. The tire did quite a bit of damage, but not as much as it could of been. Insurance claim filed and parts on order. Hoping it goes in the shop in Jan. Should be a 3 week repair. While it’s in getting the insurance repairs done, I’m going to have new front brake rotors & pads put on. I saw heat cracks in the rotors. Replace a window day/night shade that is messed up, and anything else we find. I’m also going to talk about adding a front axle track bar and maybe a real sway bar to make it drive better.
Yes I like the 8.1/Alison combo, and that’s why I’m in no hurry to look at something else. If & when we do, it will be a few years old, and it will have to have that new Ford V8 Godzilla engine in it. I’m told that's the gas engine to get if buying a new gas RV.8.1 and an Allison is a super bad ass combo for a gasser, and somewhat hard to find!
