Padres Road to the World Series

When I held affordable Dodger season tickets, Mets fans were the best visitors. Appreciating Baseball purists, not in the stadium looking for trouble.
Cincinnati fans were the one starting the fights. They came looking for trouble, found it and it never worked out well for them. They are who got the beer cut off at the 7th inning and none sold in left field back then.

Cubs fans were just loud. If the Cubs lost but their pitchers had more strikeouts, they'd consider it a win.

It is sad that the best two teams (my opinion) had to meet up in the Division Series. Should have been 7 game series. Oh well, now what do the Padres do for next year to get better? Lots of question marks.

Dodgers getting it done!
That was an easy, low stress game to watch. Flaherty looked better than I've seen him look all year. I don't know all that much about the Mets, but it sure doesn't seem like they are nearly as dangerous as the Padres. Hoping its a short series to save our thin pitching (even thinner with Vesia now hurt).

I know what you mean. My Dad died of cancer a little over a year ago. In his last months, all we could really do together was sit and watch Dodger games (he was a fanatic). Wanted him to see one more Dodger World Series, but he didn't make it. I think of baseball, and the Dodgers, way too much now. Feels like its the last connection I have with my Pops.
I hear you on this, I grew up 20 minutes form Dodgers Stadium, both my grandfather and My Dad had season tickets. Dodger baseball is in my blood. They both loved to talk baseball, and now I am lucky to have three kids that are baseball fanatics as well, we talk baseball all of the time.

Only one bad parenting situation, my middle child is a huge padre fan, haha. All my in-laws and Wife are born and raised Padre fans, my 2nd date with my wife was a Padres game at the Murph against the Dodgers (the game Orel pitched the 58 scoreless innings game). Heck my MIL was texting me after game 3 talking smack, 80 yr old woman dishing it out, love it.

Baseball is an amazing family bond for my family, wouldn't have it any other way. Keep those memories.

Dodgers going with a bullpen game again today. See how long they can keep it up . . .
I don't understand why they aren't starting Buehler. He pitched ok against the Padres, the defense deserted him. He's had five days rest?

Guessing because the BP wasn't used much last night, they feel they can push walker back to Wed in NYC . . .

Edit to add and hoping their bats stay hot at home so it won't matter what he Mets do
