Was told back in a Sept that the second color released for the H2 will be gray and released in Jan or Feb. Today I was told that Gray cars with charcoal gray & red graphics and with red suspension just went down the production line last week. So if this is the case we will see the new color in Feb or maybe March?
But more importantly Kawasaki has been replacing allot of cars due to clutch damage to the chassis, wiring and body damage. Even more are getting just new clutches due to failures but not damage to the cars. Problem is it’s the same defective clutch your getting. I have not been told, but I’d expect to hear of new clutches in the next few months at the latest. No way Kawasaki can let this go much longer. I’m actually surprised they have not released a formal recall.
I’d hope they would fix the complete clutch system, but with the secondary not exploding they might just fix the primary clutch. Problem with that is the secondary is just as much the problem with heat, blowing belts and possibly alinement issues. I hope they fix the whole problem and not just the part causing the liability issues.
Just like with Speed, how was this not found in testing & preproduction testing. Is it the clutch supplier cutting corners and making bad parts, or is it a complete design issues?
