Actually it is a legit comment. It’s the big thing that is holding me back from buying one later this year. Other owners have commented about trying to quiet it down. RPM looked at it and said there’s nothing to fix, it is what it is. I’m supposed to ride in a neighbors H2 to see how noisy it is, but the season is over and he’s still on the recall, so I doubt it will happen He says not bad, his son says it’s annoying after awhile as it’s more then just a chirping sound when you get off the power. It’s constantly chirping as your on & off the throttle, or as the car is grabbing and slipping traction in the bumps. At slower speeds it’s got a growling flub sound as it radiates air back into the intake tubes when your just cruising. I have a feeling it’s going to be a bigger complaint once the two seater comes out as the intakes will be right behind the driver and passengers heads. Mostly the passenger as that’s the engine intake side. Two of the people that got to do the original media tour and test drive. Both commented on how the cool super charger sound got old by the end of the day. Sand Shark says it’s not too bad for him with a helmet on.sounds like the charging system is not robust enough for constant winching in the Florida muck.
And this guy whining about the super charger noise is hilarious.
Yup, thats the noise of a supercharger on a small engine. But to buy one and whine about it is crazy, you knew what you bought.Actually it is a legit comment.
