Heavy winching will definitely tax a charging system. If voltage drops enough, fuses will blow.

sounds like the charging system is not robust enough for constant winching in the Florida muck.

And this guy whining about the super charger noise is hilarious.

Actually it is a legit comment. It’s the big thing that is holding me back from buying one later this year. Other owners have commented about trying to quiet it down. RPM looked at it and said there’s nothing to fix, it is what it is. I’m supposed to ride in a neighbors H2 to see how noisy it is, but the season is over and he’s still on the recall, so I doubt it will happen He says not bad, his son says it’s annoying after awhile as it’s more then just a chirping sound when you get off the power. It’s constantly chirping as your on & off the throttle, or as the car is grabbing and slipping traction in the bumps. At slower speeds it’s got a growling flub sound as it radiates air back into the intake tubes when your just cruising. I have a feeling it’s going to be a bigger complaint once the two seater comes out as the intakes will be right behind the driver and passengers heads. Mostly the passenger as that’s the engine intake side. Two of the people that got to do the original media tour and test drive. Both commented on how the cool super charger sound got old by the end of the day. Sand Shark says it’s not too bad for him with a helmet on.

Yup, thats the noise of a supercharger on a small engine. But to buy one and whine about it is crazy, you knew what you bought.

Did they?! 🤣

Probably the same group of folks that move next to an Airport that has been in operation for 50+ years, only to get it shut down because they can't stand the noise and/or air traffic.

Or... a Drag Strip.

There's a lot of these Dolts breathing valuable oxygen.

The super charger noise with a helmet on is minimal and you really do not pay much attention to it. With your helmet off it is louder, but so is a Can Am X3 or Polaris with clutch noises.

Now to the fun stuff - I got another letter from Kawi yesterday on the Stop Ride. The fix will not be available until May and they are extending the factory warranty up through the date your car gets fixed. From that point they are giving a 1 year extended warranty. I suspect they will be offering more as this goes on. Only saving grace is I really have not missed too much wheel time because it has been too hot to go out.

Nikal - those guys all ride with no helmets and those tight trails you are on and off the throttle a lot more than open desert. No helmet makes the supercharger noise louder and you will hear the gears of the supercharger.

where is the 2 seater? :( waiting.

glad the clutch will be upgraded before the "lighter" 2 seater comes out though

should be a rocket!

Two seater is likely delayed until they get the clutch fix taken care of. on the 4/5 seaters. Also allows them more testing and hopefully testing in the dunes.
