First impression overall is, I think she’s a keeper but,
Being a mid engine car She slides a little bit too much for my liking. I’m pretty sure it’s due to the Dune Sport paddle being as flat as it is. Currently at 10 psi, Might take a couple of pounds out next trip to see if it changes much.
After driving the Talon SXS for 3 seasons, I do miss having doors.
I took it easy because of the Mega Sand transaxle and me still getting used to the car. I think it handles very similar to my previous SU Sand Pro 2 mid engine “Old Yeller “. However, I need to get a bit more aggressive to find out what it can handle and that’s a “Catch 22” scenario now because of the transaxle. The suspension feels good but I’ll probably do some tinkering as the season goes on. The motor seems healthy as she scoots pretty good up Olds and China Wall. No issues with the first trip is a big plus.
I like the look without the flames and I’m happy that it fits in the enclosed without removing the paddles.
