Mason Motorsports buggy build

Few small updates. Been focusing on my building my house which will be completed in two weeks. Once the house is done I’ll be able to focus/fund more on the build.

Looks awesome,

If that is not his mock up block then you might want to tell him the block is 10MM on the bolts, looks like he has 3/8 bolts in the motor mount holes,

It’s just a mock up block.

Curious what the pros and cons are of putting the fuel up forward? Better weight balance? How much effect does it have on the CG being a bit higher than typical cars that put the fuel lower and rearward? What about the safety aspects?

The cell up front will help with CG for sure. It’s a custom Harmon fuel cell with triple coated resin safety bladder and is FIA certified. If the Mason brothers were comfortable with it for their personal car I feel safe too.
