I purchased this car from Robert Mason after my family and I lost our old car in a house fire back in February of this year. This is one of two cars that Robert and his brother Neil were building for themselves. Therefore, they are not a production car. I have most the parts for it besides the engine. Mason Motorsports builds the best Trophy Trucks around in my opinion so I’m super stoked to have this car. I’ll update this thread as progress moves forward.

Robert and Neil are at the top of there game right now.  That car will be top of the food chain, depending on your drivetrain choices.

I wouldn't even paint it.

There was a dude in Canada that was building an OL10.5 car (I think it was OL10.5) that was sanding & polishing each tube before he welded it into the car.  he was going to clear coat the whole chassis when he was done with it.  He was doing it in his garage, so Im not sure if he ever finished it....  it was amazing to see. it was on Yellowbullet.com forum for a long time, but I have not gone on there in years............

WOW, this thing looks like it's going to be AWESOME!!!!

Congrats!  Looking forward to seeing the build progress.

Mason is killing it in TT with the AWD trucks.  My old team Chase Motorsports picked up a slightly used Mason 6100 a few years ago and did so well in it they ordered a brand new 6100 and have been racing it for a couple seasons.

I'm going to stick with a NA motor for now. Either a 415-440 stroker with a Weddle S5D.
