Let's talk Griddles

One thing that was not mentioned above, that blue pitboss and the E series blackstone are both ceramic coated cooking surface's. This makes a HUGE difference for even cooking temps and clean up are a breeze. Also will help with the normal rusting that always happens.
If it's ceramic and scratches or gets dinged, wouldn't that be an issue?

After looking at prices, I think I shoulda picked up that Nexgrill.  I think it was the Daytona model for $349.  Normally $500+

Yeah that goes with most things in life

My buddy has a Nexgrill and has no issues

I've been looking at all of those like you. Specifically at the 28" versions. Walmart has the 'Adventure Ready' 28" Blackstone for $194. I don't need the big ol wiz bang with air fryer and all that stuff, just a hood would be nice. I like the rear grease discharge of the Blackstone, people say the other brands seem to get clogged at times. The main issue that I've run into is why are the cooking surfaces so dang low? They all seem to be 36" high which for me being 6'5" tall feels like I'm cooking at my knees....

Bwahahhaa...much rather be 4' 10".

I thought he wrote 28" high. Looking back ElCamino said 28"wide and 36 high.

My adventure model with wheels on 1 side is more 33" to the work surface.

Could put harbor freight balloon tires on it for a lift!! Like they do with the rolling jacks.

I bought a 22 inch griddle from the Big5, the effer has no hood. Eff.

Yes, Brookstone.. Eff..

I swung by HD last night and picked up the 30” NexGrill Daytona and promptly returned it this morning. Whoever assembled it forgot some of the screws which, whatever that’s easy to fix. Problem was part of the back corner of the frame the tiny little welds were all broken so it was flimsy as all hell. Even if it wasn’t broken, the build quality of that frame is pretty bad in general. Going to keep my eye out for a Blackstone on Black Friday or closer to Christmas.

I got lucky with my Blackstone 22'' countertop model. Was walking thru HD and saw it, no box, was a display, got it for $50!
wow! I'm now looking at the 22 for the portability and since it's just the wife and I. after getting that 30' home we realized that is just way too big for us.
