Sounds like BLM shut down the airport and the roads in and out...don't want them driving on the mud...the footprint left behind is going to Scar that area for decades....this is likely the end of burning man.
Really? Never been. Can’t say it’s one of those events I ever had interest in attending. Surprisingly, several very successful people I’ve known over the past two decades went out of their way to attend. Just not for me.
I think burning man has eaten itself like so many other festivals and events. It's so "cool and against the norm and establishment" that it's become completely establishment and corporate.
The "elites" fly themselves in and out... don't deal with the riff raff... only NOW the airport is closed so only helo's can get them in and out.. It's a long flight for a helo...gonna cost them $$$$$ to get home now... OH the karma.....

I went to Orlando in 2021. That was at the time you could fly without a mask if you had proof of vax. I didn't care much one way or the other for the vax but to fly for 5 hours without a stupid mask was a no brainer. I took the shots and then the rules changed and I had to mask up anyway. :brdflick:
