I lost my best friend yesterday. Rest in peace Chad Marshall

Just got back from a beautiful ceremony for Chad in Las Vegas yesterday. @Squatcher did a great job leading the ceremony and prayers go out to Chads wife Misty.

It was nice to hear peoples stories about Chad form all different sides of his life (Work, Growing up, Family, Mom, boating friends, duner friends.....etc) The one thing in common with  EVERYONE who spoke or you talked with expierenced with Chad was his KIND HEART and UNCONDITIONAL COMPASSION no matter who he came in contact with. It was beautiful to hear people describe their interactions with him.

Miss you buddy!!!

Chad,

"Your Kind Heart will Live With Us Forever"

Sorry to hear this Paul. You and Chad were the first GD.com people I got to dune with 10 years ago. Chad was a great guy.

RIP Chad.
Totally remember that black car of Chad's. I swear he must have been in G every single time I went. This man was only 1 year older than me. Really makes you think about how much time you have left...

RIP Duner!

PS. Good to hear the story about him saving a girls life. Maybe in his memory do what I did in my group a few years back, buy tourniquets and hand them out to your dune group. My EMS buddy bugged me for years to have these on-hand and I finally did it a while back. Hope we never need them.

Services were Sat.  Another day filled with tears.    Time to party at my house on Nov 6th.  Tears will still flow but more of a party. Food, drink, lies and stories.

Tres and I busted out our Chad T Shirts at the fire the other night!!!!

big shout out to my friend Charlene for making an awesome ammo can in memory of Chad, and my buddy David for donating  and fabricating the stainless base / stand for the can to mount to ! My son Alex did all the artwork and-it came out beautiful. Chad always loved the vets day coins so putting this at the flagpole was fitting.

We were able to get Chads memorial at the Flag pole mounted property and drilled into place. We were able to put his ashes in place along with a cold one  !

thanks to @SANDPSYCHO for keeping the drill straight without breaking bits  every 30 seconds

RIP Chad

you are missed big time!!!!

Its hard to believe that today marks 2 years since we lost Chad ! Time is a very strange thing.  I know he is  cruising that boat around and then having a cold one on top of the ultimate sand dune after a long day on the water and sand !

Chad  You are TRUELY MISSED !

"Your Kind Heart Will Live With Us FOREVER !"

RIP Brother !

Wow, Looking at the dates on the coozie...he was 2 days younger than me. I was born March 4, 1971.

Gone WAY too soon brother.

RIP Chad!

I think about him often. We both had covid at the same time, his was worse than mine but we were on the mend and were talking just about everyday before he took a turn for the worse.

Miss you buddy!
