I lost my best friend yesterday. Rest in peace Chad Marshall

RIP and very sorry for your loss. I am not sure if I have met Chad in person but I do know I've known him through the board over the years. So so sad.

When I read this this morning my heart sank. I knew you had a friend who was sick, but had no idea it was Chad. One of the nicest persons I ever met at Glamis.  First met Chad at the Compound. He helped me out and invited us into his group, allowed me to tag along and eat his roost from his turbo Honda 2 seater when I could keep up. Met up with him several times throughout the years.  Always happy and having a good time making sure you did too.  This is the first person I personally know that has passed away from Covid-19.  Rest In Peace Chad. You will be missed and remembered by all who knew you.  Paul, you are not alone in your pain and loss.

RIP CHAD.  May you rip golden dunes in the sky sir. Sad day for sure. 😢

Damn this is tough. Got to meet and dune with him on several occasions. He will be missed. RIP.

Met Chad on one of his first GD.com trips, He was on a quad....... That was not a good fit for sure.  Before I knew it he had a car and was running with the big dogs.  It was at the Compound I spoke with him last I was working on my trailer, laying in the sand fixing something. I walked on by and waved.  He returned a few minutes later just as I finished up and handed my a bundle of surgical covers. Said here keep these around so you don't have to lay down in the sand.

RIP Chad.

All loss is bad, but COVID so unpredictable  - sorry for your loss, RIP Duner ...

So sad.  I didn't know him but remember the board name.  He looks way too young.  F*ck Covid

Thanks guys keep the memories coming.  If you got pics post them up.  I will get the link to his wife so she can see how loved he was.  I am still at a total loss today. Thanks for all the stories just making me cry more but that is good.  That pic that Stugots posted was of MY 50 birthday and I realized then how lucky I was to have so many good friends to be with me and how loved I am by my friends.  I sure wish Chad could see how many people loved him and how highly people thought of him by just meeting him a few times.  Never meet anyone that said a bad word about him because there wasn't one reason from them to.  He was my first Buddy to go duning with and I have stories beyond stories of the things we did together. I had three of these knives made. I have one, Chad had one, and my other brother Randy has the last one.

Man I met Chad And Paul out in the dunes probably around 12-15 years ago and man we had a blast ripping the dunes up.  We would  go on some long all day rides packing lunches and would dune tell we got hungry then ate and dunes some more.  Chad was an awesome guy. You will be missed my friend.

I'm in shock! You never expect someone you know to die so unexpectedly! He was a great guy! So sorry for your loss Squatcher!

RIP Chad, you will be missed!

RIP Chad and sorry for your loss to friends and family our prayers go out to you all

I am at a total loss for words here. Chad was a 200 Plus pound HEART of GOLD. You could not ask for a better friend in the world. We met in the compound over 15 years ago and have been thru some crazy stuff together. Chad was one of what I call the 5 (Simply put....when the chips are down you can count your real friends on one hand........call him in the middle of the night from a jail cell in El Savador and the only thing hed want was the GPS coordinates. Hed be on the next plane getting you out of trouble at any cost)

The last few weeks have been an emotional roller coaster while Chad fought for his life. He has been on my mind 24/7 and getting to talk over facetime talking about CLARITY on what really mattered in life was a new lease on life. My wife and I went to see him on Thursday but we just missed him b4 the NO VISITORS crap. We got to see his ANGEL of a wife Misty and spend time with her. She is a rock! They were perfect for each other. My heart goes out to her at this difficult time. She Really LOVED him!

My kids have become very close to Chad and Misty over the years and we always stayed with them when my sons were at Vegas Lacrosse tournaments. The boys NEVER wanted to stay in the team hotel....instead they always wanted to hang out with Chad and Misty...head to Hammers for Burgers then back to the hot tub and house to play with Mo and Maggie their dogs.

Chad, you were an inspiration to all of us and a friend I will NEVER FORGET. The memories we shared throughout the years are etched in my brain like they are happening right now. I think of some of the shanagians and great times and start laughing to myself. You will be missed by everyones life you touched.

Godspeed Buddy. I hope you are drinking a cold one by the Campfire in the Dunes of Heaven in the sky waiting to go for a ride once we meet again. I LOVE YOU BUDDY ! I will NEVER FORGET the times our families shared. There is a giant hole in my heart. RIP HOTRNHELL Chad Marshall!

F@cking sucks!

Covid is hitting everyone differently.  It is like Russian roulette; you just don't know.

One of my employees (25) tested positive Monday.  He test negative today.  You just don't know!

Live life to the fullest every day.

I have a conference in Vegas next month and although I'm not a religious man, I'm finding myself praying to God that I don't get infected.
