I lost my best friend yesterday. Rest in peace Chad Marshall

Condolences to Chad's family and friends. It sounds like he had a profound impact on those that knew him. May he rest in peace.

I duned with him before, but didn't know him well. RIP Duner. As someone mentioned, COVID hits everyone differently.

So sad.

Chad, my friend, I'm searching for words.

Everything said about him is spot on! I feel bad because it had been too many years since I had seen him. He got out of the glamis thing and that was when I would see him except for the bonsai  run with Poule to LV to deliver atc70's then crashing at Chads.

I have been talking with Chad for the last 3 weeks about his recovery. I haven't posted this but I was recovering from Covid as well. We were on the same road but I was a mile ahead of him. We talked about getting together when we were both well enough, going fishing and celebrating. Squatcher hooked up my wife with Chads while I was in the hospital. They supported each other even though they had never met. That's the kind of guy Chad was, he attracted a like minded, sweet, loving Lady for a wife.

Though it had been years since I had seen you Chad we picked up right where we left it last time I saw you. Thank you for the support you gave me even though you were fighting your own and much worse battle. We'll be here to support Misty in any way we can.

Love you Brother

Godspeed

I was fortunate to camp and dune with Chad over the years. Camp was always a better place with him in it. He is definitely a person that will be missed but never forgotten. It was my honor to know him, RIP

I found this clip Chad took back in 2010 of my sons first time driving the sand car at 10 years old! I still remember it like yesterday....... Cool to hear his voice narrating the entire event

@Poule43 That's great. I almost bought that car after Chad sold it. The owner after him did some changes and I called Chad to talk about the car.

Great to hear his voice!

@Squatcher Paul, I am stunned...I didn't know Chad like the rest on here but I'll never forget the day I got to spend duning with you and him.

Like everyone on here is saying, he from the little bit I knew was one that would help out in any situation no matter what. What a cool guy.

I am so sorry and I too am just shocked!

Rest in Peace Chad you will be missed by more than you know!

What a day of crying yesterday. I lost my best friend and brother today. He was the best person I ever knew. Many people knew him on the board. His old board name was hotrnhell. I can't even think of another person that was loved so much. He's going to be truly missed every single day. He lost his fight with covid. He was truly one of the better people on this planet. I was going to write up a whole page about him and now I fight to think of words to say. My heart is so heavy I really just don't know what to say.Chad you will truly be missed brother. Rest in peace.     For those that don't know Chad was Duner of the year a few years ago. He saved the young girl's life. Her arm was severed in the dunes and he kept her from bleeding out until the helicopter came.

Sad to hear.  Only met with Chad a few times.  Always while helping with engine issues on the black car.  I really like that ride.

RIP bud..

RIP Chad. So sorry for the loss of another great Person / Duner. Peace

I'm still in shock. Met him on his first trip to G waaaaaay back in the day and glad to have been able to call him a friend since. Our interests shifted away from Glamis but whenever we'd see each other, it was like we had just been hanging out the day before. I'll miss you bud 😞

I had never met Chad, but, with what you all are saying about him, I am bummed I didnt.

RIP Chad and my condoulences to his family and friends
