Picked her up from a rescue last month. She came from San Quentin Mexico. 

Half shepherd half beagle. Smart dog. Needs a little training but so far she's great. 

Shiloh is her name but she answers to Gawd Dammit :lol:

We had an adopted one sort of we called Luke (neighborhood cat) but we lost him last week (Hit by a car) We really miss him. Brown one on the wall.

Got Milo when Covid hit for my 15 year old.. he was 7 months old .. found in Garbage Grove… No chip and not fixed… was potty trained and in good health. .. one of the Vietnamese must have let him out.. doubt they’d abandon this lil guy…

At LHHS to pick up my kid.. I take him on all my errands that don’t involve going into a store … like picking up parts from my warehouse or dropping a shipment at UPS.

So he’s 2 now.

Here is Kobe,

By far the most loyal well behaved dog I have ever owned.  He has a doggie door to go outside and my backyard has no fencing, he goes no where.  We adopted him from the Encinitas Kennel (he was picked up in Ramona, no chip or collar) roughly 5 years ago.  We figure he was 6 months old at the time.  The workers at the kennel named him Houdini, he got out of the cages every night, they couldn't figure it out.  We took him home, and for the first couple weeks he broke out of my backyard every day, only to sit in the street and wait for us to get home.  If you ever come to my camp, he will be greeting you with fun.  It doesn't get better..........

5 year old mix breed from shelter, she goes to work with us everyday, goes to our races, goes to nhra races, goes to Vegas. She goes everywhere. The picture in the bed is at a hotel in Missouri on a race trip.

So I have no kids either... just 2 pups. 

So Believe it or not I have a Shih-Tzu who was my mothers and when she got her, my mothers current dog bit her... so she asked me to "hold on to her" until she found a home.  I already had 2 labs and a cat... so I was reluctant but said fine... I mean she was the cutest tiniest little pup...  :classic_love:

Well 18.5yrs later here she still is alive and kicking... she is old but has so much spunk and life left in her, she is losing her vision in her right eye, but other than that she's pretty healthy!

This is her today just after I gave her a bath.  
 





She still goes out with me on short rides like to the hill for sunrise with just her and I...  :classic_love:





And this is Charlie... he's a Rescue from a local rescue I support, I've only had him about 8mos.  He is Maltese and Poodle mix and literally was abandoned for 2wks in a back yard after tenants moved.   He is only 2.5yrs old and man does he have endless energy!!  :lol:



They both really enjoy Glamis, Charlie will find out soon if he likes the river... Darla I'll probably leave with my sister since she is older I don't want to risk anything with the heat. 

All in all, I'm pretty lucky to have found Charlie and pretty sure he is just as happy he found me!!

Sorry to hear. There is a collar on my nightstand that reminds me of the good times the last dog brought to my life.

We lost our Doberman that way. That was 40 years a go. Still hurts. Peace
