On the last forum I had a topic about Albins gear noise.

Well fast forward a few weeks, a delivery to Weddle, and another couple weeks and it’s torn apart.

Here is what was found.

Mind you this is a brand new Albins, with less then 500 miles on it.

Weddle has diagnosed the issue, can you?

Looks to me like it was hot in there.  to low on fluid maybe??

Not meshing properly?
I think this is a reasonable guess. By looking at the gears it looks to be riding on the corner of the gear and not the face. But this isn’t what they said is wrong.

Something didn't let that 7 quarts flow the way it was supposed to?

It was not boke in properly ?  If that's even a thing,  Hopefully you do not have to pay a dime to get this fixed.

Since it had oil in it, I'm going to guess poor heat treatment.

I sure hope that was covered under warranty!

does it have an oil cooler/pump that failed?

That looks expensive

Any chance the pump (if it had one) was plumbed/wired backwards?
