I have been helping Anthony over the phone and wired this car to the ECM. I'm almost out of ideas and suggested we try the Honda Guru's on GD! this car had a untouched (by us) OEM engine harness that does not appear to have been modified, the manifold is not flipped so none of the throttle body wires were extended.
Here is what we know...
Runs fine under 1/3~1/2 throttle, V-tec kicks in sounds great.... but anymore throttle it falls on its face and does not gain RPM and almost sounds like really bad detonation right before it starts to bog out. ill try upload that running video you sent me, that may help. at the end you hear it fall flat.
replaced TPS, replaced MAP, blocked OEM fuel regulator and installed adjustable regulator set around 50psi, replaced fuel filter, tried a known working ECM, checked knock sensor, checked sensor shielding grounds are hooked up to ECM
After you check all the plugs and coils, I think the next step would be checking resistance in the MAP and TPS wires from ECM to sensors. if no issue's there run a fuel pressure gauge to the dash just to make sure the PSI not falling off when it starts to bog out. maybe check the crank sensor too like suggested above. and send a list of codes!
