Are you going to put a hydra-mat on the bottom of the pump?

I thought about it but that stuff is freaking expensive. Plus this is a dual pump setup and I don't know if I could have got two pieces of hydromat to fit. It would have been like $400. So no I am going to rely on my baffles. Forgot this pic.

I could not tell there were 2 pumps.

Are they in parallel?

Do they both run all of the time?

Do they join in a manifold on the flange or separate discrete fittings?

Decided to add six more holes right where the fill is to make sure that fuel flows into the main tank without backing up.

Took longer than I thought this time but I ran into another wall working on this project. I couldn't work on this truck if I wanted to right now. Started last Saturday. Completely glazed over. Probably need a couple more days. Been prepping three of our cars to sell. 53 Oldsmobile with a 502, 4l80 trans and 9 inch rear. 62 corvette. And a 1970 GMC pickup with a direct injected l83 and a 6l80 transmission.. Looks like I have a buyer for these. Also happened to get lucky and get this shot today of the 31.

Well I would really like to mount the radiator here but that upper hose is going to be tough to make a 90 look right coming forward. Exactly 3 in from the end of that outlet to the back of the fan. I might need to cut up a rubber hose for my 90. Need to think about this one a minute.

Press an AN male into the pump & use a 90* fitting on the hose?

Weld a 90* (or 80*, or 70*, ) right onto the fitting already on the pump & then make your connection elsewhere?

do like on a buggy & make the tubes out of metal with short rubber connectors?
