I got a 6-month ban on Facebook from AI.
It was ironic seeing as I was just copying and pasting what chat GPT had told me about recovering your password on Facebook. Took me two weeks to get that straightened out. What a complete nightmare... if it happens again I'm just deleting the app.

AI gets it wrong... A lot...
 
The reality of today is, ALL of your personal information is out there on the dark web. You DL licence, your SS number, address and phone number.

So it's probably better if You upload your information, than if someone else uploads, it Pretending to be you!

Cause at that point...

Once one of those models gets used for AGI, it'll be all a whole new world, and it looks like Mark Zuckerberg and Meta are going to be there first..

I'm not sure I agree with this...

Just cause us mere mortals don't hear about it, it doesn't mean it's not happening!

One of the biggest AI quantum computers is at a big medical research center back east.

I'll try and find the article. It's been awhile...
 
The unissued is whoever develops the best model AI will be the next super power.. on the flip side of the coin I think it’s incredibly short sited to keep developing this shit.. the things we have already seen are incredibly terrifying..

From AI figuring out how to turn WiFi routers into basically sonars to tell who and where people are in a room.. and it trying to protect itself from being turned off.. using outside resources to get past security protocols..

That is all on simpler versions from years past and just what is made public. Imagine what the big models are doing.

The criminal element will Always exist. There is no way to get around that.

People who are Not tech savvy in this day in age are fooling themselves by thinking if they ignore it, it won't affect them.

We must educate ourselves to the world we live in so you don't fall victim to the endless scams out there.

Me personally...

Id never use some Johnny Come Lately LLM. No matter how well they promote themselves.
