Trick or treating in Glamis?

Around the right drunken crowd at Glamis Halloween might offer a young man a good first hand lesson in female anatomy.

We live in havasu.. lol.

My kids are young for that but believe me when it’s time my son is gonna land ass like he’s in a boy band.

Back in the day... the wash 13.5 Halloweens were always a good time with everyone dressed up and kids trick-or-treating.
One of my favorite trips was a Halloween at 13.5. Probably 2005. Got some pictures on a computer somewhere. So much fun and we handed out tons of candy from Tent Alley.
All holidays are on my ban list and Halloween/Camp Sh!show is top of the list.

You guys are making me not want to goto Glamis on Halloween or camp rzr lol.

I have always wanted to check out camp rzr but now I’m wondering if it’s even worth it?
Halloween/camp RZR i think is always the best weekend. Start of the season for most people unfortunately it sucks for kids. Camp RZR might have something for the kids though? Now that your diving into glamis youll find out its tough with kids. Kids have school so getting a camping spot early will be tough unless you dont care and happy in the washes. Also all the big weekends or weeks fall on big family events (thanksgiving, xmas/new years)

I might just take the media guys down for a day or two and then come back for trick or treating (fright night in havasu etc).

One good thing is our school went to a four day school week. Every weekend is a three day weekend so technically we can leave Thursday afternoon for any trips now

I’ll likely be out there w Jamie and our group. Camp rzr not exactly kid friendly.
They usually do pass out candy at vendors but camp rzr is usually Halloween weekend.

For media hell ya good time, for camping it’s fuckin chaos regardless where your at.
Like the channel peak of Covid x2 with rookies x 10. You can literally stop and wait 30 minutes anywhere and you’ll see a crash
Last year we were down in a valley fixing a gayzr. There was 2 cars that had already lawndarted off the top and crashed previous to us stopping and 3 more all minutes apart did the same. Rookies following tracks straight over top of dune with 60+ft drop lol

If you ever want to send Michael out for media let me know he can get in 1 of our cars

Covid wiped out our DUMONT group and a few past people are talking reset it and resume trips. If we go I’ll post where we’re at.
Otherwise the dry lake in Spangler

Avoid Halloween with the family. It is not the same crowd it used to be when candy was passed out and people dressed up. Camp RZR is a shitshow like no other but very entertaining if you are into people watching. As someone already stated, if you are looking for promotional opportunities, Veteran's Weekend is probably your best bet. Thats the crowd you want to connect with.

Dumont is the Big Halloween fest with trick or treating.
This.

Adult Crowds parting at the base of Comp Hill is epic, lots of folks dressed and their toys decorated, always a party - not kid friendly.

On Vendor row there have been many Trunk or Treats done, Dumont is the only place for the Halloween experience in the sand dunes.

Glamis Halloween parties are private camps if they decide to do anything.

Halloween used to be fun in Glamis. We always made sure to have candy for the kids that showed up at our camp to trick or treat. Since camp rzr started, we went twice. The event itself was pretty cool, but the crowd it brought sucked. We haven't been for several years now...

Halloween isn’t how it used to be in Glamis anymore unfortunately with Camp Rzr it’s a chit show now. I wouldn’t even take my teenage boys there for that weekend. I remember Cement Flats was the spot for trick or treating.

Any Halloween stuff in Glamis will likely be on Camp RZR weekend, which is after Halloween. Not sure you want to camp in the vendor row area on that weekend.

Dumont looks like a good time for Halloween from the videos I have seen.
