Thank you, it was my pleasure, I am glad it only needs cutting brakes and no steering wheel, ÂIt was windy... I got the car from Funco last monday. Quick and easy is the easiest way to say. I got the car pulled out did a lil put around camp. Mr @Squatcher was there and nice enough to lend a hand. A lot of hands. The car is absolutely beautiful, Grant and Painter Joe freaking killed it on the paint scheme. @J Alper built a nasty driveable 440 Whipple, and his customer service is amazing A++++.
This car rips and dunes like no other car I have been in. It wheelies almost on command thru all 5 gears. I had a few lil hiccups, lost an alternator, but for the most part the car is amazing. Will post some pictures and videos later after I get caught up on work.
Thanks Clay! I can't wait to see your update!Right on. Glad you loved the car. I carry a spare alternator now because I’ve lost 2 on new motors. Seems there were some issues with some of them. Cool thing about a Funco is there is so much knowledge out there and people are willing to help. It’s been so long since I’ve had a different manufacture I wouldn’t even know the differences.Â

your car is beautiful I know which one I would sell. Lol.Â
Any ideas why the alternators go out? Too much HP.Thanks Clay! I can't wait to see your update!
I definitely need more seat time in it to make me feel more comfortable under drag runs. Alper does what alper does best. Make HP.car came out great Tony. I wish we could have gotten in a good drag race but both of our Alper Engines would just wheelie out of control when we tried to drag. I guess we both need more seat time for drag runs in these new beasts. Have to agree with everything you mentioned about my car as well. Thanks Jason Alper for a killer engine and power.Â
I thought it was an RPM problem. Jason????ÂAny ideas why the alternators go out? Too much HP.
