Those fires are crazy in California…. Very sad for those that have lost their homes and businesses.. :(
 
I have a few friends who have evacuated, but they are safe. This is going to be real bad when we can finally see the property destruction. Press conference just said over 1000 structures have been destroyed and 2 are dead. Malibu was hit last night and the fire has burned all the way to PCH.

Yesterday dozens of people just abandoned their cars and walked away. They brought in a bulldozer and just moved them out of the way

This one hits home. My mom lives in Altadena and every house on her block has burned down, except hers and my brothers. Unfuckingbelievable. I'm in Glamis with my kids for a wedding and we are watching the news coverage on her street. My house in La Crescenta is under mandatory evacuation and I have a buddy who is going to check on it and my dog. Heading home in the morning.

We have friends in Pacific Palisades and Sierra Madre that had to evacuate last night, fires were just 2 blocks from their homes.

I hope this doesn't become the next "Camp Fire" that devastated norther CA inn 2018

I spent all day dealing with the mess from the wind.

Everything is back to normal for me. For others here in SoCal, not so much.

Because of the fires the kings and flames game has been postponed to a later date! pray for all the families and lost homes !...
 
the West side of PCH from the Palisades to Malibu is gone. Gladstones and Dukes were saved. Moonshadows is gone. Kinda looks like Lahaina
 
Woke up to this in view, blowing away from us thank God but still nerve-wracking all day hoping a fire does not break out in our foothills. With the way th1000002950.jpge wind was blowing we would be close enough to have to evacuate.
 
Seeing the Glow as I was out delivering was unreal this morning. The wind was one for the Books for sure..My Heart goes out to everyone affected
 
Saw a line of fire trucks headed that way on I5 earlier today. Not sure what jurisdiction they were from but they had about 1k miles to go to reach LA. I'm sure a ton of fire fighting resources are being sent from all over to assist.
 
Gavin has been working diligently to “Trump proof” California, a few fires could be looked at as a fair trade off for shielding illegal aliens from being turned over to ICE after serving time for other crime.
 
A family we care about, hockey teammates of our son that live in Altadena, not far from JPL lost their home from the Easton fire.

Shitty CA Politics and Utilities are the blame IMHO. Stuff like this can be avoided, they are far enough away from the foothills and mountain...but again bad policy and piss poor planning makes an avoidable crisis a devastating event...
