Sandwich

Just fried a grilled chicken/cheese sammich on sourdough on the Blackstone. No pics, I was hungry.

Funny, I don't eat sandwiches that often but when I make them...mustard, meat, cheese, DONE! Made in about 46 seconds.
Now, if my wife makes me a sandwich..Oh Boy...Mustard/Mayo, Onions, tomato, lettuce, pepperoncini's (if we have them), cheese, folded meats and cut on a slight diagonal, chips too if we have them!
LOL

Eat like a King, "the King"

Elvis Presley's favorite sandwich was the peanut butter, banana, and bacon sandwich, also known as the Elvis sandwich, the Velvet Elvis, or PB&B

I'm a PB and J fan as well, but haven't had one in years. However, when I was young, poor and owned a vintage clothing store in Hermosa Beach I ate them every day (My car was dead so I rode a borrowed bike to work and a good meal was when the rents were paid and I had $5 in my pocket which would buy me a Bean / Cheese / Rice burrito from El Terasco and a 22 oz Mickey's from the liquor store).

Last sandwich I had was leftover X Mas steak on a croissant with horseradish mayo, gruyere cheese, grilled onions and a tomato. That was epic !

I like PB I like jelly but as soon as the two of them get anywhere near each other I am out. Only thing worse than a PB&J sammy is if you put one in a plastic sandwich bag. I don't care if you make a perfect sammy as soon as you place it in a plastic sandwich bag I will not be eating it no matter how perfect it might be.

dO both pieces of bread with peanutbutter, then jelly on one (on top of peanutbutter)...make a little pool for the jelly to nestle into, LOL
Wrap with saran wrap then put it in the bag!
I hate oozing out jelly, LMAO!!!!!

This picture makes me hungry, especially since that is a delicious looking sandwich.
Before I started dating my wife, she worked in a grocery store deli. I started coming in and ordering sandwiches from her on a regular basis. One day, she said “man, you really like these sandwiches!?!” I said “I’m not here for the sandwiches.” I got her phone number that day and we started dating right after that, and weve been married for 13 years. …But she did make a really good sandwich, and she still does.
Now a carne asada burrito does the trick also. Mmmmmm mmmm.

Love me a Cubano. Unfortunately Little Havana Sandwiches in El Segundo closed down and is now a Japonica. Need to find a new place that can make a good one

I met my wife when she ran a deli, some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I have been married 30 years now.
