The best Set up that we have found for the Pro R has been the 33 Sand Blaster #1 paddle. This has been a super predictable tire and is very consistent through the dunes. Its tall and is true to size so it gives you the comfort most are looking for through the bumps, tons of forward hook, and you can step the rear end out without it wanting to straighten its self out like others. Also a true 4 ply tire and not "4ply rated" which is a big deal compared to some of the tires mentioned previously here..
To pair with this My personal favorite is the 10.75 Razor Blaster. This is a 4 steering rib tire and is the best compliment to the Pro R in my opinion. These cars are HEAVY and they tend to push through the tight turns. This tire eliminates any push through. Also, this tire measures to a true 33" as well.
A great 2nd front tire would be the 33" Podigee. a lot lighter and has forward paddles for the 4X4 drivers and a steering rib. Steering on this tire is less aggressive but still better then a full smooth tire.
