She stayed calm and collected. Trump came across angry and yelling. Reminded me of Obama sweet talking the nation.

Yep she used every play out of Obama's playbook. From the tone of her cackle to the hand motions. She used those 5 days wisely. She had a plan and stuck to it lying the entire time and not getting called out on it by ABC, yet they were quick to note when Trump would. As soon as Trump started down the they are eating pets rant, it was over, and she got a bump in the polls. Now he has to do damage control, but he will only stick to the same playbook he has been using from day one, well those people he had he still has. It was the undecided where he took it on the chin the worst. She stayed calm and collected. Trump came across angry and yelling. Reminded me of Obama sweet talking the nation.
Actually, my aunt, was on the fence about whether or not to vote for Trump again, while I don't think her performance will pull her into that camp, I think his pushed her the rest of the way out of the door. Here's the reality. Does anyone reading this actually know of ONE single person that didn't already have their mind made up before last night? One single person that was actually on the fence before last night and was looking for substance in order to make a decision? I'm not sure who these independent undecided people are or where they are from, but I know of absolutely none.
Perfect summary - I can't vote for Kamala but Trump hurt himself badly. While I don't know many on the fence - they exist - he lost them last night. The clueless will view her as the better answer of two poor choices. His narcissism is overwhelming - it was depressing to watch last night. This is a great country but that's the best we can do?Yep she used every play out of Obama's playbook. From the tone of her cackle to the hand motions. She used those 5 days wisely. He missed so many opportunities it wasn't funny.
When she talked about the people who had defected from the right over to her, instead of going on and on about how he fired them. He should have mention Tulsi, RFK Jr. and her VP candidate's entire family, but swing and a miss there.
When pressed on vetoing a nationwide abortion ban instead of going on and on about how it wouldn't get the votes he should of just looked into the camera and said yes I will veto any bill that would supersede the states rights that I have given them regarding abortion.
When she said people are leaving his rallies, he should have responded back with her only giving one pre-taped interview since being anointed 50 days ago in what has to be the most un-democratic primary ever.
When she went on about her foreign travels instead of putting back on him how everyone of them loving him to death, He should have taken that opportunity to say. " Madame Vice President the American people will expect you to be able to sit down across the table from world leaders and tell if they are lying and you being the last person in the room couldn't tell if Joe was losing his faculties? What was it you said immediately after his last debate? Madame Vice President I wouldn't allow you to negotiate a used car deal!"
And many many more.
Donald J. Trump is his own biggest fan and his worst enemy

I’m afraid you may be right dbart. I hope we are wrong but he has to start listening to his team and act more Presidential. I’m sure they tried to prep him for the debate and he just winged it and it shows. Pray for the USA.I missed the beginning, and I almost didn't want to watch any of it.
My wife had it on when I got home and she said it was a chit show.
I saw about the last 15 minutes and seemed like she was prepped pretty well, had the answers already, and Trump effed it up!
ALL HE HAS TO DO IS state what he's gonna do.
We all know she's a cackling baffoon, but she's a lawyer and what do they do?
They twist and bend things to make you think they are your friend and here to help when in fact they are saying whatever to get the jury on her side.
In the end, she becomes president, we all suffer and she still comes out on top...Just like a lawyer/politician!
What a joke!
You watch, she will be president! I hope/pray that I am wrong, but look who was installed there now and where is he? Sleeping?
Fair enough, but I don't think that particular debate was as detrimental or as swaying as some do. If that was what people needed to make a decision I'd rather they stay home in November. They call them battleground states for a reason. There are a lot more people on the fence then we think. This might be the only time a debate swayed people as usually they have very little or no effect on an election.
All he had to do was stay on point and make her explain the last 3 1/2 years and keep his answers short and directed to make her respond. He said the same shit he says at his rallies and we have heard it a million times , we already know. Now was the time to pivot and play the offense. She on the other hand acted like she is running for a high school president. Even when he called her out on her bullshit it did not give much weight be cause of the delivery.
the latest polls (take that for what its worth) is showing the decided are very decided, and its down the middle. the undecided (of which there are lots), are going to decide the outcome (assuming no hinky business). Here's the reality. Normally debates don't mean much. So we shall see what happens.Fair enough, but I don't think that particular debate was as detrimental or as swaying as some do. If that was what people needed to make a decision I'd rather they stay home in November.
